Orange Hotel(Golmud Jiangyuan Middle Road Kunlun Park Store)

Extremely clean and the service was excellent.

The Orange Hotel didn't have oranges, the front desk service was poor, and most importantly, the beds were not clean. I had to ask for another sheet and make the bed myself.

Huazhu Hotels Group brands are so convenient you can just book any hotel without any hassle. The receptionist was very friendly and upgraded my room. The room was clean and comfortable – a very pleasant stay!

The rooms were clean and tidy. It's a newly opened hotel, so there was no unpleasant smell. It's conveniently located, and the breakfast was plentiful. Orange Hotel is indeed a good choice; the surrounding area has a great variety of restaurants, which is very convenient.

The hotel has a great environment and new facilities that are well-maintained. It has internal parking, which is very convenient for those driving. There are many restaurants nearby, and the location is good. I would definitely book here again next time.

I had an urgent one-day business trip, and my colleague booked me this Orange Hotel in Golmud. I've stayed at Orange Hotels before, and as a member of Huazhu Group, they're generally decent business hotels. But this one was a complete disappointment. The moment I opened the door, there was a pungent smell, not quite like sewage odor, but even after opening the small window to ventilate, the smell didn't dissipate much. It wasn't until I opened the bathroom door that I smelled a strong sewage stench. I considered changing rooms since it was only for one night, but decided against it. There was hair from the previous guest on the bed, and the humidifier also had hair from someone else, along with limescale that hadn't been cleaned in a long time. It was so dry there that I didn't even bother turning on the humidifier. The toilet seat had small yellow spots on the back; I forgot to take a picture, so I spent ages rinsing it with the showerhead and wiping it with my own alcohol swabs before using it. When I asked a woman in what looked like a staff uniform for directions to the restaurant, she ignored me. She was wearing headphones; I don't know if she genuinely didn't hear me or was just pretending. The noise from the machines at night was so loud that I didn't fall asleep until around 2 AM, and even then, I slept restlessly, waking up several times. Besides the machine noise, there was also a foul odor coming from the bathroom, and I felt groggy when I woke up in the morning. When I went to the restaurant, all the stir-fried dishes were cold. I thought they were cold dishes, but it turned out they did have cold dishes—a cold radish salad and some other dish I can't remember. Because I had something to do, I ate quickly and checked out immediately. This stay was truly unsatisfactory, and I will never stay at this hotel again for business trips.

The rooms were nice, and I understand that the elevator is shared with other businesses, but there were always people smoking inside. The breakfast was okay, but I suspect it's free. I was traveling with a child who is 1 meter tall, and you charged me. When I called to inquire, you told me I had to order breakfast for the room type you specified in order to accommodate a child. When I went for breakfast the next day, no one asked for breakfast vouchers or anything; everyone just went in, ate, and left. Finally, and most importantly, don't you check guests' ID information during check-in? Don't you log into the public security system? After check-in, you called to ask if I was from Xinjiang and if I belonged to a minority group, saying I had to register. Isn't this ethnic discrimination? Although I'm not from a minority group, shouldn't this be done during check-in? What's the point of calling back later?

I like Orange very much, but the only drawback of this store is that three of the four dryers were broken. I told the front desk to dry them, but when I got my clothes in the morning they were all wet.
