A bucket list dream was to visit Cappadocia in winter and hopefully enjoy snow scenes of fairy castles and honeycombed hills. Unfortunately snow had come and gone however our Christmas was made very special regardless, by our stay at Sora Cave under the incredible management of Seher. This boutique accommodation offered 6 beautifully appointed rooms, well heated in a location just outside of the busy touristy area, yet not too far away and still offering walking access to restaurants and shops. We selected the Carved Rock Room #103 with the Pigeon House view.. and the comfortable round bed! The direct service provided at time of booking, leading up to our arrival and during our stay was 5 star. English/Turkish translation was great and the offer of assistance at any time was wonderful. We had a hire vehicle, so always considered where we stayed and Seher arranged approval for a space very close by. The included breakfast was also a treat, with freshly cooked, home made pastries, savoury edibles, and “the best cheese omelettes”. Their “Vision and Mission” are certainly met, if not exceeded. When we come back one day, we will certainly return to Sora Cave Hotel. Dianne and Darren co
