Sahin and his father Faruk are super welcoming and friendly. They are very helpful with suggesting where to go, how and why but are not pushy in any way. Kismet is warm and cosy with spacious rooms and hot showers - I was there when it snowed in March! It is centrally located for exploring Goreme, Uchisar and Cavsin and an easy walk to restaurants, cafes and shops. I would highly recommend this hotel - Faruk and Sahin, thank you for your awesome hospitality.

I have been there twice. This is a family business that puts their heart and soul into assuring your good time. The cave rooms are like a step back into Turkish culture, but they are clean and cozy and comfy. The breakfast is awesome. I just loved this place and you will, too!

This is a gorgeous and unique hotel experience with fantastic staff! Could not recommend more - the hotel is tucked away in a quieter corner of Goreme, but still about 10 minutes walking from the town center with restaurants and peak views. The staff is amazing - it's run by a family. Shaheen (the son) runs the front desk and was so helpful in booking everything we wanted to do in Cappadocia along with negotiating for price from the hot air balloon ride to the cave tours to horseback riding. We had a limited amount of time and he did everything he could to make sure we did everything we wanted to. His mother grows fresh vegetables and fruits in her garden from which she makes the free breakfast available every morning - so amazing and you can eat on the deck in the sun. Great place!

The minute I arrived at Kismet Cave House, I fell in love with it. The host Shahin offered me çay and there was beautiful breakfast laid out and cooked by his mum. The views from the terrace where you have breakfast are simply mesmerising, so peaceful and what a relaxing pace of life here. I had a great chat with the head of this family and house Faruk as well. You will feel well looked after and cared for by this family. The room was clean with nice sheets and decor. The only thing I would complain about is the rooftop bar opposite to the house that would play music late into the night with no regards of people needing to wake up early for balloons. I would totally stay here again if I was coming back to Kapadokya this magical place!

KISMET CAVE HOUSE. This rustic accommodation is on the quiet side of the main street. It is only about a 300m walk to the shops and restaurants. If you are travelling by car you will be able to find street parking. The room was pleasant and spacious with all necessities and toiletries provided A hearty breakfast is served on the upstairs balcony. We were disappointed to find the roof terrace bare - not a stick of furniture. We suffered roof envy when viewing the roof terraces of the accommodation around us. One could possibly view the hot air balloons from the terrace but on the mornings of our stay the balloons did not fly. The family is attentive and helpful.

We stayed a Kismet Cave House back in 2011. At that time we enjoyed the grand spectacle and beauty of Kapadokya with the attentive hospitality of Faruk bey. We were so impressed that this fall we brought our Canadian friends with us. Our friends were so touched by everything they saw and experienced. We toured the caves, the valleys, the skies, the villages. What a beautiful country! What beautiful people! This little boutique hotel is a precious gem. Kapakokya has changed a lot since we last visited, but Kismet Cave House has not... and that is a good thing. Our compliments to all the thoughtful attention you gave to our friends. Thank you Kismet Cave House for making this visit perfect, again.

A small cosy home stay type place with personal attention from the entire host family with real and loving interest. Faruk, Shaheen and family were too good as hosts and we really enjoyed our two nights in Capadocia because of them. Value for money and simple natural indulgence !!!

Comfortable, like a home, with helpful kind service. Most impressed by the healthy, green breakfast - no plastic and mostly locally sourced or home-grown and home made - and DELICIOUS! Our stay in Gōreme was fun, with a hot air balloon ride, organised by Kismet, and walks suggested by the Kismet staff. So much to do, so little time...
