Hotel Kaiserworth Goslar

We booked 2 rooms for a weekend. The rooms were both under the sloping roof. It was almost impossible to stand up straight. The bathroom also very small. Hardly any warm water in the shower. The furniture is very old and worn. The carpet was very dirty. Some of the lights were defective. There were no reading lights at all. A breakfast for 16.90 euros, which was absolutely carelessly prepared. The list can be extended by a few points. How does a house like this get 4 stars, awarded by DEHOGA. INCREDIBLE We spoiled the weekend a lot.

The hotel has a great location and impresses externally with its old charm. However, how the four stars should justify it is inexplicable to us. For breakfast there was a service for 17 euros per person that we first had to look for in the building for 20 minutes. Then a plate was brought to the table with 2 slices of cheese, mortadella, salami, boiled pigs and turkey breast. On request we got scrambled eggs again 20 minutes later. The boiled egg didn't come until we were already done. The second morning the same sad breakfast. To top it all off, the turkey breast pulled smears. The plate was exchanged immediately, but we lost our appetite. However, it was uncomplicated that we got our money refunded for the entire breakfast without further asking. No apologies or anything. In our room we found a pair of used underpants from the previous guest and the entrance area was littered with butts and rubbish. The days we were there were unfortunately not removed. A few years ago this used to be a great hotel with great food and breakfast. Unfortunately there is nothing left of it. When we arrived on Sunday, there was already no more food at 6:30 p.m. and we were referred to the restaurant next door. Unfortunately, there was only anyone available in the hotel from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. At the other times there was no staff to be found. We imagine a 4 star hotel differently

Duschen war nicht möglich. Das Wasser tröpfelte nur aus der Duschbrause. Andere Gäste machten die gleichen Erfahrungen. Beschwerden nicht möglich, da die Rezeption nur zum Einchecken besetzt ist. Kundenservice gleich Null.
