Best Five Star Hotels in Goynuk Mahallesi

This was our 1st holiday to Turkey we booked with love holidays selected Imperial sunland resort in Antalya. I am writing a true reveiw of me and my husbands experience. Some good some poor overall we would not revisit this hotel.On arrival reception area quite dark,beautiful comfortable sofas and chairs nice furniture with lamps and coffee tables,very spacious , the Porto asked us are we English we said yes, we was given the correct room standard with seaveiw the room was clean, there was a fridge in the room but only 2 small bottles of water and 2 tiny cartons of cherry juice.No milk in the room so we could not make a english cup of tea.There was a kettle, tea and sugar.The bathroom was clean but needs some tlc as the grouting around the tiles looks unhygienic there was a piece of toilet roll wedged in the bath panel I thought it was to keep plastic bath panel in place.Balcony was nice a nd clean with fixed clothes dryer. Bedroom lighting not bright enough. Breakfast time was fair but not enough cereal variety.Milk for our tea we had to take from the cereal side from a dispenser so bit of a pain as it was away from the tea making facilities.Food was good always plenty but seemed like everyone needed to get in early not sure why but we always went in about a hour after start of breakfast and start of lunch There only seemed about 6 people in the whole hotel that was English and the hotel seemed very full. The hotel was full of Russians and Germans we found out later in the week that the area Belbi was known for not many English visitors we did not know this when we booked the holiday. Pool area was nice plenty of sun beds, but out side bar around pool lacked on some drinks cokecola the server stated the pump had ran out and broke so we could not have cola drinks around the pool also ice cream was out of the pool area and only available 1 hour per day at 3pm daily. Not good if you have children. Drinks you had to fetch from the pool area bar yourself although the staff did collect the empty drink cartons . Pool plastic green small tables was wiped with cloths but no antibacterial spray used we watched a member of staff dip a cloth in the pool then wipe the table with the cloth I personally found this disgusting. The staff never smiled with people or at people. Lunch time Please make sure your table has been cleaned and clean cutlery placed on it as we went to a table and was unaware it had been used as cutlery was set out and it was dirty cutlery and even when tables was cleaned they just gave them a quick wipe so there was still crumps left on tables they just wipe the table with cloths no antibacterial and all the mess was pushed onto the floor. Food was dropped and not picked up quick enough on one accasion a big piece of water melon was on the floor anyone could slip on it. We personally thought they was short staffed in the restaurant. This is not a 5 star location. We visited in the end of March. When arrived at 10-30, with all the check-in things it was 11AM, after a long flight and tiring transfer, we were not offered anything to snack, though the reception told 'there should be some cookies'. In the room there were nuts mix and some fruits with wine, very nice, but no use for people on fruits-free diet. Had to wait till 12-30 to get to crowded dining area for lunch. Wanted some mineral water stacked in the room fridge, but no bottle opener at place. Wondered if there's a book shelf / library available in the hotel - nothing at all (though we visited quite a lot of recreational sites worldwide and most 5* hotels have at least a book corner. All bars offer just drinks (tea, coffee, water) but no snacks. Feel disappointed with the promising pictures and bright feedback by other visitors. Yes food is diverse (but if you're late for breakfast / dinner, be ready for lukewarm meals instead of well heated) and the staff is polite, but nothing for intellectual rest offered. Not sure if we'd return here or any Rixos hotel in the future. As for the good pointes, thanks we were allowed to our room earlier than 2pm. It's nice place for families with kids (lot of entertainment). Large area and various activities for sportsmen. Clean treadmills, walking paths and the grass trimmed and waterised. The sea doesn't require praise - it's always at its best.

Very strange, rude, entitled and unethical staff. They try and charge for upgrades and will only take cash claiming card machines don’t work. Fairly sure the staff are taking the cash for themselves. The waiters during dinner are beyond rude. They do not serve drinks and when you ask for wine they slam the glasses and speak in Turkish to themselves. The receptionist staff are not welcoming and do t speak to you on the way a paying guest should be spoken to. The restaurant closes at 9pm which in itself is ridiculous and then a guy who mumbles comes and asks you to leave even if you are having a drink and chatting as a family. The clientele is mostly Russian and I can tell that this creates a very hostile and strange dynamic between the staff and guests. Generally they do not say please, thank you nor do they smile or adhere to basic manners such as standing a line for something like coffee. The staff obviously do not like their cultural ways and so they fight fire with fire. The rooms and the hotel in general is a bit ran down, a bit 90’s and just not a 5 star hotel. Location, pool, sea and animation staff all great. Overall a strange, rude and disappointing place to be.

This is our 3rd visit to the Rixos chain of hotels and we are impressed! The Rixos Beldibi was fantastic and staff were friendly from the moment we arrived there. Overall Quality 5-star hotel, with excellent staff in a setting that makes you feel at home. Worth a visit for couples and families. If going, take advantage of free transfer and entry to Land of Legends Park. Room We had a spacious room on the 3rd floor with a view of the gardens and sea. I wanted to bring the bed home with us as was so comfortable! The room was spotless and maid service did a great job especially with the towel animals. Restaurants The breakfast buffet had an expansive range and choice, I think we had different things every day and never got tired of the selection. There was ample seating both inside and out in the main restaurant with the décor and ambiance making it feel varied and comfortable. The patisserie had a selection of cakes and biscuits that changed each day and a good range of Teas and Coffees that complimented them. I was very partial to a Turkish Coffee and cake mid-morning and my waistline shows it after the trip! During the day the Bistro restaurant was relaxed, and service couldn’t be faulted. It felt like we were in an upmarket restaurant. With our stay we had a single a la carte diner at the Italian, where we sat on the veranda. There were many courses, and we especially enjoyed the ravioli which was creamy and rich. Bars The range of branded drinks was extensive, and wines were tasty. There were at least 4 different types of beers with range and flavour. With the cocktails the staff could make any you wanted however we weren’t that adventurous. The lobby bar was quiet, and we spent most of our time at the beach bar, where the evening entertainment was. Pool The main pool was split in two level and there was a separate kids pool. It was clean and well looked after with friendly lifeguards. There were plenty of sun loungers providing a picturesque view of the mountains catching the sun through till around 4 pm ish. Beach The beach had plenty of sun loungers and cabanas and we always found a space. Swimming in the sea was refreshing and safe and I saw a few fish. We loved the pier and getting afternoon sun looking back at the hotel and views, especially when sipping an ice coffee. Entertainments The staff worked hard and provided a varied entertainment schedule. During the day there were many activities you were free to join in with we tried tennis, basketball, and a bit of table tennis. We didn’t fancy the aerial exercise class or the bike ride to the canyon. Over the week in the evening there was karaoke and a music quiz and we had a laugh. For us it was pitched at the right level however a younger crowd may want a bit more. The kids club ran all day and till late in the evening the kids looked to be loving it! Land of Legends Wow. We took advantage of the free transfer and access to the Land of Legends and with-it being October we were able to

Visiting with friends. Initially the hotel is a nice layout. There are three accessible bars; The Lobby, Poolside and Restaurant bar. All of which serve a good, varied range of drinks, meals mostly branded. The rooms are nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. A great range of bathroom disposables including toothbrush& paste, razor & cream, loofah, soap, shampoo, body lotion, shower gel, cotton buds, sanitary products and conditioner. The staff are why I have bumped my rating up. The restaurant and bar staff are great, nothing is too much trouble. From helping connect phones to liaising with the bank and hospital when we had an emergency. Always a cheery greeting and smiles (well, from most but you always get one or two grumpy ones) The lifeguards are great and very attentive. What stopped me giving five stars was the food. Although it was good it was very much the same type of thing meal after meal. A lot of food wasn’t served hot enough. Mashed potatoes are packet.

The pool bar was excellent, the staff was very nice and friendly especially aziz, Great sea, food was not bad, clean pools, great amphitheater, The cleaning of the rooms was good, everything was orderl

This hotel is good if not spectacular. The good - the staff are friendly, pools are clean as are the rooms on arrival. Beach is great and the pontoon is a really nice place to spend the day. A couple in our group had 2 seperate spa treatments which they said were very good and good value for money. The not so good - food is certainly not spectacular, it is very samey nightly. It's certainly not awful but the choice is relatively limited on hot food. The salad bar is certainly well stocked. The snack bar is the best place to go where they cook your choice fresh. They have a i'm assuming 'special' on the first station each night. It was a bit hit and miss but again it's certainly not awful. We stayed in a bungalow - the location was fantastic - just over from the pool and the main restaurant. The bathroom needs a bit of love and care - seals around shower were all coming off. The room cleaning is a bit random - some days it was very good and others it looked like noone had been in there with the duvet folded at the end of the bed - first world problems but you would expect more from a 5* hotel. The a la carte restaurant is decent however avoid if you have any sort of nut allergy - it seems every dish has some form of nut in. Ice cream bar was very popular with my daughter but unusual that it was only open from 4 each day. You can however get ice creams for lunch. We did have a late check out on leaving which they did for us complimentary again showing good customer service. Much appreciated! All in all I think 4/5 is a fair score.

A very pleasant atmosphere in the hotel, music from decorated under the stone columns calms. lots of greens, stunning view of the mountains, cozy palaces with pools, a magnificent large beach with crystal clear water. The room was taken by the class of deluxe on the second floor near the pool, quietly, pine view, spacious room with comfortable mattresses. Minus: the horrible smell of sewage periodically from the shower. The restaurant liked, on the street to eat pleasant with a beautiful view, the staff in the restaurant is very welcoming and diligent, a separate thanks to Veysel - thank you for the romash tea and for the beautiful mood) Meliha conquered the 4-year-old son with a smile and charisma. In general staff are very kind in the hotel, waiters all with a smile meet, the gestapo tries to help always. There are shortcomings in cleaning rooms, on food, (not matching the value for such a number) but it is a question to the owner on what you can save - save. As a result, the impressions only positive remained, thank you for the great holiday!
