Guesthouse Sara

We stayed one night at Sara's with our 6-year-old son before visiting Plitvice Lakes the next day. The location is perfect and the accommodations are top-notch: spacious, clean, and quiet. Everything was perfect, from the bedding to the kitchenette and the bathroom. We had a very generous and excellent breakfast before starting our trip to Plitvice Lakes. The host is very pleasant and attentive. We highly recommend it; it's a safe and reliable place. We visited the lakes feeling relaxed and at ease. 😌

We stayed at Guest House Sara for 3 nights. Several guest rooms have been set up in two adjacent buildings. We had a “Deluxe Twin Room”. The room was very nice, spacious, made entirely of wood, with a table with kettle and an open top floor with an extra bed. The bathroom was also nice and with a very good shower. Our room also had a balcony and air conditioning. We had a wonderful sleep here. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and very good coffee. The owners Ilija and Ivanka are very attentive and hospitable. At the back of the buildings you also have a nice swimming pool. But we did not use that at the time. Price and quality are perfect. Next to this guesthouse there is also a small, well-stocked supermarket that is not expensive at all. And you will find plenty of restaurants nearby. From Guest House Sara it takes less than 10 minutes by car for 8 km to reach the parking lot of the northern "Entrance 1" of the National Park «Plitvička Jezera». Because this park was of course the reason for us to come here. We can only recommend Guest House Sara. We wish Ilija and Ivanka much success with their great company in the coming years.
