The apartment is conveniently located near a main road, right next to the British Palace department store. It's within walking distance of the city's bustling areas. The facilities are decent for an apartment, but the most impressive thing is David's amazing service. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and even speaks a little Chinese. He was a huge help to us; we could ask him anything we encountered while traveling! During check-in, he showed us a map and introduced us to Granada's main attractions and neighborhoods. He even proactively booked our airport transfer for the last day. The breakfast was also quite good. If you like apartments, I highly recommend this one. Service is top-notch! 💯

This little shop is quite unique...it has a guesthouse-like feel.
The owner is a very interesting guy; he speaks a little bit of broken Chinese, but he can draw pictures to explain what he means.
The location is great; it's very convenient to go anywhere.
They have a wide variety of breakfast options, and the guy said he wanted us to try all their delicious dishes...the cheesecake was especially good.
The background music in the shop was surprisingly Cui Jian's "The Fake Monk."

I have been thinking about how to evaluate this hotel for a long time. This hotel is not big, but the location is very good. It takes less than half an hour to walk to the main attractions in Granada. I stayed in an American room in the hotel. The furniture in the room looked a bit old, but it should have been carefully selected. There was also a sofa area where I could read and chat. When you are tired from playing outside, all you want to do is go home. This hotel is like your home in Granada. When your family asks you what you want to eat for breakfast, you can choose according to your own taste and habits. Although the bathroom facilities are not as modern as standard hotels, they are adequate. If I go to Granada again, maybe I will want to go home and visit.
Perfecto location and romantic stay. Beds are comfy and complete silence at night to sleep well. Clenliness 10+ and beautyful design

Excellent stay. Beautiful property run by a truly hospitable family. Hosts were super helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We had a small issue with a broken shower in our original room and they moved us into a bigger room free of cost. Highly recommend this property if you are visiting Granada and are looking for a heritage property downtown close to everything, walkable to most attractions and restaurants in 15 minutes or less.
Response from Property: Appreciated visitors of Chicago, Thank for writing so good lines about our work and services. As you say, everything has his life, and showers are not an exception in this. Now we have made the shower sustitution, but the important thing you were comfortable and happy with the change. We really appreciate such good words and we will recommend as guests in the future ;) Thanks again and enjoy life.

The service, friendliness and helpfulness of everyone working here is truly exemplary. Everything from the cleanliness of the suite to the delicious breakfast with delightful home made juices was very inviting and much appreciated. Our crticisms are limited to circumstances beyond the control of the hotel. It is a bit of a challenge to find even with the rental car GPS system. The one way street it is on protects the hotel from the noise and hubbub of Granada at large and creates a narrow environment. Our bedroom and bed were smaller than preferred. But the heart of the hotel is large and caring. If you want to feel at home in a busy, large city, this could well be your place.
Response from Property: Appreciated Samba, Thanks for your good valoration: we really lver your "briefing" about our rooms& services. Refering what you point of the GPS system, it is normal if sometimes the system force you to give some rounds: the way of the street is changing one year from another. We recommend always to update your system until the last version. About what you comment of the bedroom, we have to say we are over the medium size at Granada that is 15 square metters: our rooms are 25 (in the case of deluxe we double the size with 30 m2). Please, feel free to come back when you visit Granada: our door will be opened for the time you need.

Recently stayed on a “France”-themed room for one night. Before checking on the communication with the hotel was great, via WhatssApp. The hotel is easy to access. We took a bus from the train station. Hotel is one street away from the main street and where the bus stop is. Advice, if taking the bus for the first time. It appears that you can buy a bus ticket every other stop. We found that the driver would not always let people buy a ticket on the bus. The cost is 1.40. If looking for a taxi, the taxi stand is one block away. A taxi would easily take you to the hotel. Also, there is a parking garage on the same block as the hotel if driving. Was greeted by David. He was very friendly and welcoming. He also took the time to draw out on a map places we should visit. Very nice touch. I learned this is a family-run hotel. It shows that they place a lot of love in the care. As noted, we stayed in the “France” room. This was a large room with the living area separated from the bedroom by a fireplace. Being summer, we did not try the fireplace. Bathroom had a tub with a handheld wand for washing (pointing out for those not used to this). Room had a fridge, tv, etc. all amenities needed were in the room. The exception being a safe. A note in the room indicates the hotel will store your valuables. The air conditioning worked great, which was needed during the heat wave. Bed, etc we’re comfortable, bed was firm. There is an older style elevator. Use this when with your bags. Otherwise, take the beautiful stair case. It really is a neat place. We did not eat on property so cannot rate that experience. We were taking a tour of Alhambra in n check out and we’re able to store our bags with the hotel. One thing I would not is that staff take a break in the afternoon. I believe the break is 13:00-15:30.

We enjoyed four wonderful days at the palatial house. A charming place in an exceptional location. Every detail was carefully considered, the Italian-style room was spectacular, the breakfast was fabulous, and David's hospitality was outstanding. We will definitely return and highly recommend it.

The location is unbeatable. Ten or fifteen minutes from everything. But the best thing about Casa Palacete 1822 isn't the location, which is excellent, but the family that runs it. They make you feel right at home, offering everything you need, friendliness, and good conversation, if you're interested. The reception area, the café, the staircase, and, of course, the rooms envelop you in stories to tell and details to discover. David opens the door to Granada and to whatever you need. From the lightest conversation to the best tips for exploring the city. It's not just a hotel; it's a starting point.

Renovated apartment in the center of Granada, in a quiet area about a ten-minute walk from the Cathedral. Comfortable apartment, with well-functioning and easy-to-control air conditioning (essential in Granada in the summer). Comfortable bed, bathroom without a window, but with well-functioning exhaust fan. Minibar always stocked with a couple of bottles of cold water. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, starting at 8:30-8:35 and lasting practically until lunch. Worth considering if you're looking for a mid-to-high price range.

Grazie.
