Inn on Lake Granbury

My search started with finding a July 4th fireworks display off the water in a safe, small town. I wanted to get the full experience of Americana. That led me to the Inn at Lake Granbury. What a beautiful, wonderful surprise! The Inn is gorgeous with fabulous luxurious surprises. The bed and shower are top-notch. We stayed in one of the loft rooms where we had a separate living area and balcony. Loved it. The pool was relaxing and the hosts provided essential oil infused, ice-cold cooling cloths during our pool lounging time. The chef-prepared breakfast and appetizers daily were also a great treat. The lake is beautiful and we had such a nice view from our balcony. The loft has a Keurig so we enjoyed coffee on the balcony each morning. We could see the fireworks from our balcony, but we ended up venturing out to the sitting dock to get an even better view. The Inn is within walking distance of the charming Granbury town square (picture a Hallmark movie). There are several outstanding restaurants to choose from there. The service at the Inn is spectacular and the rooms were very clean. I am already planning my next trip. The fact that it is an adults only property is also a plus.

The Inn on Lake Granbury is an ideal hotel to stay at and escape for a long weekend or vacation. Cooper and his staff are attentive, friendly and do everything possible to ensure your stay is what you want! From the time you check in to when you check out, they are there to ensure you have the perfect get away. They walk you to your room at check-in, bring you happy hour beverages with great hot hors d'oeuvres around 5:00. If you make your reservation to include breakfast, it's made to order and delicious! The rooms are incredible comfortable, and the grounds are well maintained. Our room had a balcony in which we enjoyed coffee in the morning and happy hour in the afternoon. It also had the most spectacular sunrises in the morning. The pool is also a relaxing place to chill along with the Adirondack chairs overlooking the lake! It's also less than a ten-minute walk to Granbury Square so you don't have to spend ten minutes looking for a parking spot! Overall, we had a great and relaxing time at the Inn on Lake Granbury and look forward to returning in the future.

This makes our second stay at The Inn on Lake Granbury & we come away feeling rewarded & a feeling of gratification for time & money well spent. The stay at the Inn is a total experience of location, setting, facility & service. We hope to find time in the future & come back again.

It was a great getaway. Love the text to keep in contact during the stay. Felt personable. The champagne for the anniversary was a great touch. Food was very good. Scenery was great. Property well kept.

Such a lovely experience in a beautiful setting. The comfort and care the owners provide sets this Inn on Lake Granbury above par! We travel a lot and not all places check the boxes. Cleanliness, comfort, the grounds, the views, the pool, the food and the responsiveness of the staff are 100%. The location is easy to find and close to the historic downtown center will bring right on the lake. There is a garden you enjoy while eating breakfast outside that attracts bumble bees and monarch butterflies. So pleasant!

If you are looking for perfect, look no further! We hoped for a special place to celebrate our 54th anniversary and The Inn on Lake Granbury met every expectation. Our room was spectacular with a balcony to enjoy the view to the lake as we drank morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. Do not miss the opportunity for a delicious breakfast - worth the extra money! And the afternoon appetizers and wine delivered to your room at 5:00 is something you will love. The cleanliness of the room, comfy bed, friendly staff, well-manicured grounds, beautiful pool, view of the lake and proximity to the historic Granbury square are what makes this a perfect choice for you. We are already looking forward to a return stay. Definitely worth a 5-star rating!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. The room was great. The staff made sure all things were done for us to relax. From beverages by the pool to having snacks available and the breakfast was as advertised. It is also a short walk to the downtown area for a nice dinner and shopping. It was an overall great place to relax. I would highly recommend a weekend here.

This is such a special place. The scenery is beautiful. The rooms look exactly like the picture. The hospitality is superb. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and loved every moment of it. It was very quiet, rooms and common areas were clean. The location is walking distance from the square which is full of shops and restaurants. The inn is perfectly centered from the beach and not a far drive to Walmart and other chains. I would definitely recommend this inn for a romantic or quick getaway. We hope to make another trip back!

We stayed the weekend of June 26-28 at the Lake House at the Inn on Lake Granbury. It didn’t go that well. First thing we noticed was two large paned windows had condensation covering the entire panes from broken seals. The kitchen window was broken from a rock or something thrown at it. Then my friend couldn’t get her shower water warm. The next morning we reported that, along with spider webs in the interior corners, patio furniture not clean and dead bugs in the kitchen cabinets. She said she’ll let the owner know and others have complained about the shower Later she asked if we wanted it cleaned and we said yes. No one came. So that night my friend still couldn’t get her shower working and we looked for other problems. The grill hadn’t been cleaned and had wasp nests and trash in it; a taco seasoning mix in the kitchen had an expiration date of 2020; more dead bugs; and the tile severely cracked. When checking out we told the gal on duty and she completely threw her co-worker under the bus. Later the owner called me and I let him know for $1,000 per night it was completely unacceptable. He discounted the price. I sent him the photos we had as proof. I think the workers stay around the pool and reception areas knowing that’s were he stays. But don’t do their entire jobs. I really think the owner doesn’t venture from the main area and inspect work. On a positive note, the facility is close the historic downtown Granbury and an easy walk into town.
