We had a wonderful time at The Mauricia. We received a warm welcome from Mr. Krishna, who shared many helpful tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were a bit small but cozy and very clean. The buffet selection was somewhat limited compared to other Beachcomber hotels, but the service provided by Barbara, Chevesh, and Najib was outstanding. A big thank you to the team — you are doing an excellent job! Even though we were local residents, we never experienced any discrimination in the quality of service. One suggestion: the animation could be improved by incorporating more local music.

We stayed for 11 nights in April for a relaxing holiday. We had the half board package. We asked to have lunch or dinner interchangeable but that is not possible: half board is for sure dinner. Only exception was the final day of departure where we got to have lunch. Ok room for the price, but nothing special wrt value. It's worth noting they are refurbishing later this year, that might elevate the experience. The hotel is located in grand baie with large shops within 15-20m walk, a public beach, katamaran trip boarding area, local restaurants and a an ATM. Everything you need is nearby. We rented a car so we cannot speak for the taxi service. We took one taxi, and although a bit high price, the flexibility and booking was seamless. Fantastic: - certain someone's services (see below) in the restaurants and cleaning - the spa - the pool/beach area and water activities Great: - the hotel location Ok: - the acoustics and noise in the restaurant - the room itself Bad: - the service provided by a certain group. This has been reported to the hotel. We need to highlight the fantastic service by a couple of employees: Bhonul for 10/10 cleaning and service. Positive, happy, tailoring the timing and adjustment of cleaning service to whatever you preferred. Satyam in both restaurants (buffet and a la carte Le nautic): extraordinary service well deserved of high praise. Fixes everything for you, gives the little extra, asks how things are going and meets every demand. The same goes for Ally, which we mainly interacted with in Le Nautic. Finally, Kemraj also gave great service in both restaurants and for breakfast. The chef named Coulou also gave great omelets and service while cooking. The food in the buffet is mainly great, the areas can get a bit crowded during peak hours. The acoustics and stage nearby ensures that your dinner sadly won't be a calm one, so if you want something calmer then Le Nautic is the better option. The hotel has a deal with an Italian traveling agency, so be aware that the hotel has super many Italians. Just for information. The spa is fantastic, and offers fairly cheap massages with skilled people that tailor it to your needs. The spa area was also very serene and calming. The beach area with beds and also the included water activities (glass bottom boat, snorkeling etc) are a true highlight for this hotel. Easy to book, friendly helpful staff and so on. The beach itself due to the location of the hotel in a bay doesn't have the clearest water, but it is warm and superb for cooling down in the sun. Overall the service and certain staff make the experience very good as explicitly written, but a bunch of stuff makes this a 3.4/5 experience overall meaning a 4/5 is just a bit out of reach as-is.

It was a truly magical family holiday. Everything from the arrival service, check-in, and accommodations to the activities, especially the watersport and catamaran cruises. Snorkeling in pristinely turqoise waters. And those beautiful, romantic sunsets made it unforgettable. The food was abundant, and each night had a different cuisine theme. It was paradise..

Was there with my family celebrating new year..we were aproximately 15 Pax..such a nice time at the hotel...was a real vacation time..Such a lovely hotel...swimming pools was great..there are 3 pools..was great being there...such nice views..staff were so welcoming and friendy....Food were yummy and loads of variety of foods and dessert..Entertainment was just superb..

I've been there one week ago,from the first day since the last day I've check out,I've been pampered and inpress by the hospitality there.Kimberley at the reception gave us a warm welcome,and whenever we needed any info,she was there to guide us. At the bar there was Lorenza who was very keen and helpful,she was like "lets give a try to "ti punch" you"ll like it" and of course,every suggestion she did was niice,and thanks to her team also which was very receptives. Thanks to the animation team also,especially Mr Ravi & Chris who were there and engaged them in playing table tennis and petanque with us, and the Harmony band which gave a very good prestation- despite the sound quality was not that good,the band was playing some very good music. Mauricia for sure is the place to be and a place I will recommend other to go.

We had the most amazing 7 nights at Mauricia Beachcomber. The staff were extremely friendly and obliging. We were welcomed every morning by the ever so friendly, Reshma, our room was spotlessly taken care of by her. She's so pleasant, always smiling and extremely friendly. The food was great. Lovely variety. All activities were great! Pity the music at the aquagym session was too loud! Over-all we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend the hotel.

We had an amazing experience thanks to the exceptional service provided by Amela, Sanjeev, Youven, Francois, Arvine, and Fadeen. Their professionalism, hospitality, and attention to detail truly elevated our stay. A big thank you also to the Kids Club team for taking such great care of the children. Your superb service made our trip unforgettable. We highly recommend this destination and look forward to returning!

Once a year, we always make it a point to visit Mauricia, and every time, it feels like coming home. The hotel offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the staff is always incredibly welcoming and helpful. We would especially like to extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Shakeel for his outstanding hospitality. He went above and beyond to accommodate all of our last-minute requests, ensuring that our stay was seamless and memorable. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The ambiance of the restaurant and the bar was lovely, and the service was attentive and courteous. The food quality was consistent. Some dishes were excellent.

Definitely one of my favourite hotels in Mauritius. It's "only a 4-star" hotel but the service, the welcome and the experience definitely falls in the 5-Star category. I have visited the hotel a few times during the past 15 years and the experience is always superior to what I can get from other hotels in the same price category and sometimes even beyond.
