They left their guests stranded during a cyclone . No food , No first aid & No emergency contact . Note that Mauritius experience cyclonic weather often & every responsibly , well managed hotel ensures the safety & well being of their guests . Sadly Casa Florida doesnt live up to the expectation . Elderly family stranded . No food & drinks available . Everywhere is closed .

Hi. My family and I spent one day pass during this weekend at Casa Florida. On average, we can say that it was not so ok. What matters much for us, was to have good quality food and this was not the case. We were offered a plate having grilled fish (being too salty), grilled chicken (small and not having good taste as if not well marinated) and grilled lamb (smelling foul and not tender while cutting), the chips were soggy and the mixed salad was as if only cut vegetables without vinaigrette. Truly, from the bottom of our heart, we were expecting more quality food. It is better to have a modest portion of tasty quality food rather than a full plate with food of bad taste and being unpleasant. Only on this point, we regret to inform you that it is our first and last visit to Casa Florida. Hope you will improve your food quality because we pay for the package and rather give fried rice or noodles instead of mixed grills.

Extremely bad experience! 1) 1 hour room checkin delay 2) no variety of food for a Christmas eve, it was limited for a buffet 3) request was made prior booking for vegetarian, request was approved, but no food available during lunchtime at 1200. They were aware that there was a vegetarian request but they ignore and forgot. So we stay waiting till 1600hrs. We got fried rice only when they confirm that will receive chopsuey veg, salad and rice. The management need to review the service, since it is definitely affecting the customer. I will not recommend such a place, where you have to wait 4 hours for a lunch and 1 hour for room checkin. Paid for a full board stay package but was not welcomed and treated up to the standards. The staff at the restaurant are not well trained and no customer service at all. Management need to take it seriously.

We stayed in a bungalow. A great experience! Staff and manager Kantee are very friendly & helpful! The Pereybere beach is within walking distance. Supermarket Winners is a few minutes away. Next time we come we’ll be definitely staying here! Jasna (Slovenia)

The hotel is average and food strictly okay. The staffs are helpful. The highlight is the good pricing and the services wre okay. Rooms are spacious, clean and air conditioned. WiFi works. Close to Winners supermarket and Pereybere beach. Quality-Price ratio is a match!

Beautiful place to relax. Nice staff always have a welcoming smile. Food superb. Service excellent 👌. Room was so neat and fresh . Essence was a plus. Restaurant was so clean and quite with a beautiful swimming pool view. For sure will come back again

This resort was recommended by my niece. The resort is in a nice location with two beaches within walking distance. The bedroom was clean and worth the money. The only thing is that the TV can only be be watched from the bed and not the sitting area. The fridge had some pieces missing. We had one small issue, on returning from an evening out halfway through our stay, we couldn’t get into our room due to an issue with the door mechanism. The night manager put us in the room next door for the night. The next day the staff handled the situation with the utmost professionalism, the young lady on reception and the customer relations manager took control. They got someone to take the door of the hinge so could get a change of clothes. The management the upgraded us to luxury room and refunded two nights stay. The hotel has a spa but no sunna. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend the resort. We plan yo stay again on our next trip

I had a lot of expectations while booking this hotel,however I was disappointed on the first day itself , staff at the reception talking in their native language in front of guests ,they are not welcoming at all,you need to ask the reception for every little things everyday you need to go and ask for your room to be cleaned . I believe the staff should learn how to converse with Mauritian people as we are here to promote local ,a small indian lady doing rounds the table everyday at breakfast I was there for one whole week am a Mauritian and was on vacation ,she does not value local people at all, we pay the same money as the tourist and you all need to review everything there I work in hotel Industry too as a guest services manager and if the Gm is seeing this try to teach your staff how to go above and beyond guests expectations and acknowledge them ,while booking I mentioned there will be my partner birthday there was not even a birthday card in the room. I am quite disappointed restaurant breakfast is not worth for money for wat we pay ,everyday same thing only dinner I can gve an 8 on 10 and a big thank you to the restaurant staff . One small message if you all want to know how to run a reception or even the hotel operations feel free to contact me you have my details .

The worse experience in a "hotel" that I have been so far. If you plan to book a stay at casa Florida hotel & spa kindly read my review I wouldn't like anyone to go through what I been during my stay there. The welcome at the reception was so cold no greeting. There was simply no customer service, they knew that I arrived so they started to talk among themselves saying your guest arrived and it felt so unprofessional the way they were talking about me in front of me. The receptionist Tessa didn't know which package deal I came on even though it must have been on my booking. She was so unorganized, firstly I booked Half board which was upgraded to full board. That was the deal I booked for three days two nights but she insisted arrogantly that it was half board. Once been allocated the room I went for a walk to see around. The swimming pool was so filthy the dirt was accumulated on the bottom. Honestly seem impossible to swim in it. Dinner time I went got a seat in the restaurant and as the receptionist Tessa who guided me to my room didn't give me any information or details how it works around the "hotel" such as dinner breakfast timings and all. So there I was in the restaurant still trying to figure out dinner. The waiter came with an a la cart menu which options was terrible, as well I still choose what I thought according to me was good on the menu. Unfortunately the starter, the main course and the dessert was catastrophic, I was such a disaster. There was flies in the food flies in the restaurant I even took pictures of what I mentioned about the food and the flies. The next morning breakfast was buffet the food was still terrible. We encounter Kanti who was the Manager of the "hotel" she listens to me and offered to exchange my room where as I never had issues with the room my issue was the food. She told me I will get my room after breakfast but it was lunch time the room was not ready yet. Lunch time they still argue that I was on half board and I couldn't get lunch but Kantee said she was doing it as compensation offering me a meal for lunch again I had to explain that I paid for the package which included breakfast lunch dinner without drinks which after a very long explanation she understood. By that time I got so fed up and I made up my mind to leave the "hotel" even though I paid for two nights I couldn't stay there any longer. By the time I finished lunch and checked out that room she said I will get after breakfast was still not ready. How bad is that management. The food was awful the choices were very bad the taste was horrible. The staff management was so poor the staff working there are not trained and not welcoming at all. That lady kantee kept on praising herself that she only does good to people she is the best whatever. So anyone who book there kindly think twice. It's your stay don't spoil it or ruin it.
