Wyndham Garden Grand Rapids Airport

We arrived later in the njght, early morning. (2:00am)- we waited for 28 minutes before we got some help to check in! called the front desk where I was standing, 8 times and it did nothing.🙄 then, he checks us in, and says "so only 2 adults?" umm, no sir, 2 adults and the 4 kids standing with us. he says, "you didnt list them" ...ok, and? we forgot, and the hotel doesn't charge extra for kids, so whats the issue? 🙄 check out is at 11am. I called at 7:30 in the morning, to the front desk to request a later check out, (from my phone because the phone in room doesnt work). housekeeping is pounding on the door at 11:02, I told them I requested a later check out. 11:58, knocking again. as we're gathering up our belongings, they wait outside the door and watch. 🙄 the screen in our window, was completely cut open, so someone could stick their head out the window to smoke..🤷🏽♀️ the curtains in our room were sliced. so that was attractive. NOT. no hot tub or jacuzzi in pool room. on a plus side, they did have beer in the pop cooler for sale..😏

Yeah their fitness room was hardly a fitness room 4 machines treadmill (barely worked) elliptical (didnt work) and another treadmill (didnt work) bike (hardly worked) hardly any weights i mean a rack of weights that was 4 sets of dumbbells wide 8 in total 4 up top 4 on bottom 1 rusty bench and for some reason you can see into the pool area but they cant see you which is weird. Breakfast isn’t what you think it is its cereal, bread like parts of a loaf juice whatever they decide to put in a mini fridge on the counter and coffee and thats it. They let kids run around the hotel yelling/screaming not doing anything about it. The room is bare minimum in amenities but flooring and beds look modern and new compared to the rest of the building. Overall terrible experience definitely not worth the price.

This hotel needs to be taken car of. If you have othe options, use them
