We have spent 9 days at the Laguna beach hotel. The hotel is small, friendly, clean the food was pleasant. I had a massage whilst there will nlillisha she was very professional and the massage was amazing. Alex is the entertainer here he is full of laughter and smiles. We had a lovely time and met lovely people. Downside was the weather ( winter season) the gym wasn't great and it felt quite remote to main attractions. We went horse racing in st Louis which was fun and to the vallee des colur. Also visited the local market in flacq shopping centre, ile aux cerf.

What a lovely hotel. All staff are brilliant and very helpful. Always plenty of food and drink. Alex the new lead of the entertainment staff (Well deserved) is an absolute diamond. So funny and full of life. Absolutely made our holiday. Really noticed it when he was on a day off. Weather was a bit off and on at times. (It is their winter) But still very enjoyable.

We had amazing time staying in the Laguna beach hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, great food and very good atmosphere in around the hotel. We came here to do the kitesurfing and the hotel is well located to access many spots. You cannot kite directly from the hotel beach, but there is a daily boat to Ile aux Cerf, and a few other spots within a short drive.

I have been back from Laguna beach just over a week now. I went with a couple of friends and loved every minute of it. Apart from the ghekos The food was lovely all freshly cooked and very tasty. I have read previous negative reviews about the food and totally disagree. There is something for everyone. No there isn’t burger and chips if you want that type of food maybe try Benidorm. What there is tho is traditional Mauritian food aswell as a Chinese night which was delicious. I couldn’t get enough of the noodles and fried rice, aswell as the Chinese or Indian nights there are stews salads and different chicken dishes. The rooms do need a little update here and there but nothing major. Towels changed daily if required and fridge topped up every day with beer, water and soft drinks Staff were fantastic some couldn’t do enough for you, big shout out to Asha the chef on a morning she was always cheerful and had a smile on her face. The main person that stood out for me was Alex from the entertainment team, he absolutely made that place for me, he got everybody up joining in whether it was beach or pool volleyball or dancing on an evening he was an asset to the hotel. Would I go back, yes definitely we had some fantastic day trips and saw some amazing places. We also met some amazing people and wish Laguna beach a very big thank you.

Super special location, right on the beach within amazing view of the ocean & mountains...well maintained rooms and super big swimming pool right on the ocean with the best view. Restaurant Staff is good and Chef needs to be more personal with guests especially vegetarian. Overall, super stay and we got the family room, pl go for a bigger room if available. Standard rooms are gd too but not very spacious. The resort is very well kept & they have sub loungers in gd numbers for the pool as well as their own private little beach. The place is next to Jetty for boat tracel to any island. It is a little far from tourist places and peaceful for someone seeking a private and peaceful holiday. Overall, a great experience !

Hotel itself very isolated location. Nothing in the vicinity, without jumping in taxis. Rooms are in vital need of upgrade, very disappointing. Took 3 days to rectify leaking air con unit water constantly pooling on floor, making slip hazard. No towels in our room one day which took an 90 mins to rectify, only after going down to reception 3 times. Food hit or miss, choice very repetitive and limited. Breakfast was fair. Lunches mainly salads and evening dinner limited choice. Entertainment in evenings basic with only 3 "entertainers" in a 10 night stay at hotel. Other nights being playing prerecorded music tracks through a PA system.

Lovely smallish resort on the south east of the island in a small fishing village. Very remote definitely need a car to get around as apart from the walk to the waterfall there is nothing else to do in the area. However the hotel was lovely with spectacular views over the bay and mountains. The rooms were rather dated however a good size and clean. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food was good and so were the cocktails. The entertainment was very hit and miss which lets this hotel down. Worth the money paid and I would recommend.

Hi Rama, We just wanted to let you know that we had the most amazing holiday, all the staff at the Laguna Beach Hotel were absolutely brilliant, the chefs and kitchen staff did an amazing job with the food it was so delicious every day and Asha and Ashda the chefs were so lovely, the bar and restaurant staff worked so hard and we're always ready to get our drinks and look after us and the receptionist team were brilliant especially Shiver and Francesca you have been such a great representative for Mercury Holidays 😊👏. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel and we would both love for you to pass on our comments to the hotel. We look forward to our next holiday next year with Mercury Holidays. We are currently on vacation at the moment . The food at the buffet is great, and it is based on themes which again is great . We went to the speciality restaurant last night (Maurition) and I had fish which was amazing Capitan . They also do a food truck event at lunchtime called Tabaji again really good food. The staff are amazing and special thanks goes to Nitish for making our holiday so perfect . Carol & Craig room number 1007.
