The food here is very sparse. There's no complimentary water in the rooms; you have to pay extra for it. And there are hardly any shops nearby. Overall, the hotel is quite run down and in need of renovation and investment.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel with half board. Loved Seaview!!! It’s so nice! Breakfast was better than dinner I think. Swimming pool was quite big and clean. Air conditioning was not in public area so we loved our room with icy cold aircon.

Very friendly staff. 5* swimming pool. Food was great and many varieties to choose. We enjoyed our stay there. Cool and relax!

The hotel was great! The rooms were spacious, the terrace was nice, and it was very comfortable to sit there and enjoy the sea view. The bathroom was also large. Overall, it was excellent! The hotel's breakfast and dinner were also very good, with a wide variety of options. Although not everything was to my liking, it was still quite nice. However, drinks were not included with dinner and had to be purchased separately.

The environment is nice, and it's convenient to get to Ile aux Cerfs, but the dinner is just average.

We stayed at three hotels in Mauritius, located in different parts of the island, so we can objectively evaluate the level of service and infrastructure. Laguna Beach is a relaxing option for a getaway "off the beaten track," with a strong grounds and weak logistics. The hotel is located in a remote village on the east side of the island. For those planning to actively explore the sights, the distances will be significant: there's practically nothing around, and getting around requires either your own car or a taxi—and that's not cheap. We chose Laguna Beach for our final five days before departure, after we'd already completed our active program. The location is ideal for a relaxing getaway. The grounds and infrastructure are the hotel's strong points. The panoramic two-level pool is a top location, making us really want to stay out of it. There's a small beach, but the water is murky, so we focused on the pool. The on-site bar is high-quality, and the cocktails are delicious. A plus is the range of water activities: a glass-bottomed boat ride to Surf Island and other activities—all included in your stay. The kitchen is open all day. Breakfasts aren't particularly varied, but they're sufficient for basic needs. Dinners, however, stand out due to their distinct themes: Chinese, Indian, lagoon, Mauritian, and cosmopolitan—the menu changes daily, ensuring no two dishes are the same. It's clear the chefs are working hard. The rooms are clean and tidy, with high-quality cleaning daily. The service is friendly. A special thanks to the entertainment staff—they created a wonderful atmosphere and even got us involved in table tennis. Laguna Beach is a great option for those looking for a relaxing, comfortable vacation within the hotel grounds. The location is remote, yes, but the gorgeous pool, varied activities, cuisine, and friendly staff more than make up for it.

Very pleasant and well-equipped. Interesting activities offered: Mercury kayaking, pedal boats, boat rentals, and the excellent shuttle service to Île aux Cerfs, not to mention the entertainment. One small drawback: the music was too loud in the evenings.

We went in April/May 2024 quite Boutique Hotel on the Beautiful Island of Mauritius . Staff and service was excellent and food was tasty and plentiful. Great Location with a small sandy beach ⛱️

Russians everywhere? Fishing on the “private beach” meaning you don’t feel safe swimming in the bay Shuttle to island booked up for our entire stay (7 days) Not much food choice but usually quite nice but not great for kids Bar ok, depending which barman you get and if people push in Overall nice hotel just few things letting it down 3.5/4 stars

Good points: -after a few issues you will find they are somewhat okay at handling allergies, depending on what they are. -decent selection of activities to do that you can book for free from the hotel Not so good points: -free drinks selection on basic all inclusive packing somewhat limited -if you want to enjoy a quiet evening, do not come here -barmen can be selective in who they take orders from (based on gender) In summary, it’s a decent hotel for a cheap deal in an expansive place. You get what you pay for and the service comes along with that.

This hotel won’t suit everyone, but we had a lovely stay here. The hotel is a 3 Star but is a good one - well managed and with really friendly and helpful staff! The rooms are clean and functional. Food is great quality although there isn’t the quantity you will find in large multi roomed hotels. If you are a fussy eater, there will be a lot less choice with chips and chicken nuggets rare although plenty of meat choices and food rarely repeated and there is always meat cooked freshly for you along with eggs cooked to order for breakfast. Only the sweets are lacking inspiration. Apart from breakfast, lunch, dinner and pancakes at 4pm, there isn’t food continually available and the bar only opens from 9.00am to 10.30pm. There is entertainment most evenings - usually a singer or local dancers. You can also get a free water taxi to Isles Aux Cerfs most days as well as hire canoes and wet suits. The pool is very cold but a nice depth of 1.2m and there is a small beach you can swim at. It is close to a harbour where you can book a variety of boat trips. It’s a small hotel which suited us perfectly. There were plenty of staff and they were always really friendly with everyone from the cleaners upwards always ready to greet you and wish you well. If you’re looking for a large noisy hotel with loads of entertainment staff and food available 24/7, this isn’t for you. However if you want a nice quiet and friendly hotel on a lovely hotel destination then I cannot recommend it highly enough
