We have just returned from a 1 night stay bed breakfast and dinner excellent price and the food was outstanding. The hotel is lovely old worlde and lovely decorated for Chris**as room and all hotel areas we found to be spotless I highly recommend the neverwood we will definitely return

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Hampsfell House Hotel. Everything was perfect, beautiful old fashioned charm hotel ,delicious food and a lovely welcoming family. We left two very happy ladies. Thank you so much

a really first class lunch,,,,but a chilly welcome..service by a waiter looked bored...we were upset by the standard of service today after such strong recomendations...on speaking to the owner she said they were busy,,,,,we were the first people in...oh then covid,,,,i do understand what the industry is going through....but a smile or communication would be nice

We stayed for two nights 17th 18th October. Grange over sands is a lovely unspoilt town. The centre has everything you would expect in a Cumbrian town without the queues. There are some lovely walks including Hampsfell. and if you stay at Hampsfell house hotel you're already halfway up the hill! The hotel is lovely, the rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable . Breakfast was huge and delicious. and they have veggie options as well. We ate there one of the nights and the food was excellent and well priced. Everyone was helpful and friendly, we wished we could have stayed longer.

Stayed for 2 nights Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal 16th & 17th July 2021. What a wee gem of a hotel! Rooms were lovely, staff were very helpful, food delicious and the Gardens were gorgeous with plenty of outside seating to relax in. Will most definitely want to visit again if visiting the area.

The web site does not reflect the actual place. The car park is full of caravans, motor homes and big white vans all occupying must needed parking spaces. This area resembled a scrape yard. The inside looked like an over stocked untidy antique shop. Totally not what we expected so we found other accommodation. The owners were not prepared to reimburse any of the £220 we paid.

Peaceful location, excellent breakfast and lunch. There were a few bumps in the night but put that down to age of the hotel. Would stay again
