Garden Park Guest House (Grantown-on-Spey) was wonderful. My wife and I are back from a 3-day whiskey guided tour in the Scottish Highlands. We had the good fortune of staying at Daniel and Sarah's Garden Park Guest House. The wood fire was burning as we arrived. Our room was named after the Grant Clan. It was HUGE and the newly renovated ensuite washroom was generously large as well. We learned that we were the first guests to enjoy this room since the renovations. Our room was properly insulated, fitted out with double/triple glazed windows and as a result, it was WARM (unlike most of the hotel rooms in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and London on this vacation). The water pressure was fabulous. Lastly, the food in the morning was so good that we felt spoiled. Almost everything from Sarah’s Birchermüesli to the bread and the jam, was homemade. Other choices included cereal, juice(s), coffee, sausage, bacon, haggis, etc. In a word: Delicious! (I enjoyed each of the above and more each morning but, alas, I forgot to take photos of the breakfasts! (My bad)). Thank you for your hospitality. Congratulations and best wishes for your continued success. Your fans from Canada. Michael and Jo'Ann PS Thank you for emailing us the recipe for your Birchermüesli. PPS Rob, the owner of Craig's Bar just down the street (90 seconds away) is politically incorrect in every way and HILARIOUS. Walk down for some good-natured insults/abuse and some Guinness and pies.
