Granville Inn

The checkin in process may have been amongst the best I ever had from the aspects of both speed and courtesy.  The rooms, given the age of the INN are small, but clean and comfortable The TVs are old, and need to be larger. The parking is limited, but manageable. The Continental breakfast could use some help and there wasn’t any butter or jam available for the pastries. All in all, I’d recommend it!

The Granville Inn is a beautiful inn built in 1925. The architectural details were magnificent; workmanship that no longer exists. We had dinner in the restaurant & it was excellent. All the staff were very friendly & helpful. The room itself was a bit of a disappointment in that it was rather small & plain but still very clean & serviceable. I think it was just a bit of a letdown given the impressiveness of the in overall.

Every detail was perfected. Fresh coffee - early!! Great breakfast in a quaint setting. Storybook feel.

The property is beautiful but I have to say the Mattresses on the beds were horrible and so were the pillows!! Did not get a good sleep the entire time I was there… I strongly advise they upgrade the mattresses and pillows!!! If not I would not stay there again…

Definitely recommend!! This was one of the best choices I’ve made during our travels! This place is amazing!! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant! The town was so quaint with a great pub with great food! Everyone was so friendly! Definitely would like to go back!

Breakfast was a nice selection, food was good. Rooms are comfortable. Staff is attentive, kind and helpful.

The Granville Inn is beautiful, well appointed, comfortable and the staff are attentive and helpful. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Our electric at home went out during some storms & my husband was away at work so it was just my son & I who stayed in the room. Upon arrival the front desk needed more than the $300 my husband just paid ($75 for incidentals) crazy bc his card wouldn't go thru again bc it looked like a scam bc it was and the girl waived it after 30 mins of trying to put it in. Let ppl know before they get there don't surprise them by asking for more money. I'm standing in the lobby with my kid super embarrassed bc his card won't go thru again for the 75 bc he just the paid 300. We were in a room upstairs (200s) and there was no Internet. It would come on for a min the disconnect. After 2 hr of that I called the front desk for a different room and I was told to connect in the hallway lmao so embarrassing and I paid 300 to be in that room. No tub. Stand up shower that leaked all over the bathroom floor when on. The breakfast was a joke. Hard bread and yogurt. No bacon no eggs no coffee just juice & water. If there was another room anywhere in Newark or Heath I wld have left and asked for a refund. I do not recommend. Never stay here, there is 100% something else better out there, do not go here.

Historic place that’s in v good condition. A few minor negatives. The room was a bit small. Almost a European size, and the price was a bit high considering. However the restaurant was quite good and the staff was very professional and helpful.
