The hotel is very clean, very quiet, very well located, free parking outside the hotel or garage paying underground. Breakfast at top 👌, a choice of fantastic and local drinks. This was our 1st stop duering our recent tour of Austria & what a great start ! After a 3hr train journey from Vienna through stunning scenery we arrived at Graz station. The hotel didnt appear to be far & only having hand luggage decided to walk which took us about 15mins. The hotel is convenient located near the old town with views over the river. Check in was both friendly & efficient which was appreciated as we had been travelling since early hours from the UK. We was very pleased with our room, bed was comfortable & our bathroom both roomy & well appointed. Duering our 2 day stay we very enjoyed our breakfasts served in the conservatory & I thought that the drinks we had in the hotel bar were very reasonable. There are terraced rear gardens with fabulous views & an outside pool but we resisted the temptation for a dip as it was mid February & about -4C 😁

Just in the center of the city, there is a one-way line on the side, and the friend who drives the car is going to drive carefully for the first time. Very good location, very close to the main attractions, walking distance, a little far from the castle. The hotel was originally an ancient building, the floor was slamming, and the hotel was filled with potted plants. Breakfast is plentiful.

Plus points - the location is good and the rooms are a decent size with decent facilities Minus points - the staff friendliness was a bit hit and miss - some where great, some not so helpful. The room service was a bit patchy - one day no towels, another day tea and coffee not replenished. The parking was also not ideal - I booked this hotel because it had hotel parking. I arrived around 10pm and was told the car park was full and I'd have to find somewhere to park myself either on the road outside or search the internet for a car park close by! Not really what I wanted to hear having travelled for around 12 hours - fortunately there was one remaining space fairly close which was a relief. We were lucky for the remainder of our stay that we managed to get a space in the undeground car park. If you do get a space the car park is really good - well lit, modern and easy to park with good room for each parking space. Overall our stay was ok.

A really cozy hotel! Since the moment of reservation we had the feeling that we will be special quests there. We got everything that we wanted there and even more - the huge umbrella in the rainy day, sauna in the evening, detailed replies to all our questions, small talks with the owner of the hotel. We definitely recommed to stay at this hotel with a long interesting history. Visit their webpage and you will understand what we mean. Highly recommended!
