Premier Inn Great Yarmouth (Seafront)

I asked in receptionist if was any room available because I make the payment online she said yes, I asked to pay directly but she said online is cheaper. After I made the payment she said she could find no room available and I said because made the payment and now the money will take 3 to 5 hours days to go back to my account and I was need the money to pay in other hotel. They said they need to other hotel so after one hour they transferred me to another hotel and when I arrived there I waited nearly one hour to get the room. When I finally got the room the room was smelling bad I asked to move to another room but I been told was no room available. I was so tired that I said ok. I have to accept the nearly one oclock in morning. So after taking a shower and trying to sleep around 3am I felt like I was bite by something and was a bedbugs in bed so me and my son was bitten I kill the bugs but I recorded before that and I wake up my son and my daughter to go on receptions trying to resolve the issue. I find me another room after he mentions in the beginning that.

Excellent location, perfect view of beach

No issue for the hotel, but Great Yarmouth as a town is terribly tired and worn. No longer a place for enjoyment.

My overall impression this was more of a budget rather a 'Premier Plus ' experience. The room was pretty small as was the bathroom. I paid extra for a sea view and the window was small and impossible to open so no sea breeze/ozone/sea air available. It wasn't clear what made the room a 'PLUS'. The free WIFI was pretty useless too. The bed was comfortable, blackout curtains worked well, food ok in the bar .The room was really warm but the air con was noisy.

Could not fundamentally fault the Hotel, as we've stayed there many times! The downside was the closure of the Beefeater restaurant, being replaced by Queensway Inns, which although the fayre was of good quality, there wasn't the selection of meals of yore! The Premier Breafast being most sorely missed!

I stay here three to four times a year. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes not so. This was ok. The new check in system is good and quick but there is no personal contact. The room was relatively clean but it seems every premier room I have stayed in lately has bleach stains on the carpet. Toilet was not clean so that let it down Maybe I can offer my services as a mystery shopper for them

This Premier Inn is in an excellent location for the Pleasure Beach end and just across there road there is a bus service in to town or along to the other end of the seafront. Lovely and clean and just what you expect when you arrive around a Premier Inn. Staff friendly. We stayed on the 3rd floor and paid extra for sea view which was totally worth it. This is one of the nicest premier inns I've stayed in and the view is beautiful. It's in such a nice location. No problems with noise. Room lovely and clean and comfortable. My sons bed has not been made up but no big deal as they got that sorted when we went out later. Shame Premier Inns are changing their restaurants attached. The one next door has been taken over so it's functioning and open but when we looked in there seemed to be no one in there and staff hanging around because they weren't busy. Cafe over road services a nice breakfast in the mornings I highly recommend this Premier Inn. One of the best.

We use Premier Inn a lot. Always comfortable and you know what you are getting. I wish they had more Premium Plus rooms as these are always booked up We only stayed for one night and were not in the hotel much but this one did not disappoint. It was clean ( thought the plug in the bathroom sink could do with some close attention) and the staff were lovely. We had a sea view family room and it was lovely. We were on the first floor which meant you could hear the people above moving around quite late then quite early but that’s hotels for you The bed was comfortable and we had all the facilities we needed A lovely staff member found me some decaf tea, as non in the room and bought it to the room. She also bought two hot chocolates for my two grandsons, which they thoroughly enjoyed before bed We were hugely disappointed the premier inn breakfast was no longer available but there is a restaurant next door you can access breakfast from. We missed it as the children slept in due to there busy day the day before We would definitely stay again

Had a lovely stay at the seafront Premiere inn in Great Yarmouth. The hotel was clean & comfortable & All the staff were polite .The food in the Beefeater attached to the hotel was very tasty, we had dinner & breakfast & the service was great.
