Aloft Greenville Downtown

The room was perfect conditions when we arrive and the staff when out of their way to make our stay enjoyable!

Check in was easy and took less than 3 minutes. We received a free breakfast because we are Marriott Bonvoy members. Room was clean. Location was perfect - right in down town near several restaurants. It was a little noisy at night due to traffic/events going on outside the hotel, but this is not the hotel's fault. Parking was only $10 a night - you can't find that anywhere today!

Checking was ok. I was a fan of the $50 charge on my account up front. At the end the parking card didn’t even work and we had to call for assistance. The Starbucks handed me a black coffee then said make it yourself which was a little odd. Biggest issue was only having one washrag.

The location was great, the room just fine, and the staff as apathetic as they could be. Not a great experience.

Staff was great. Cool bar area with music. Refrigerator but no microwave in the room. Room lighting was a little weird. Would have been nice to have individual switches for the lights rather than the forced combinations, bathroom mirror on forced the overhead room light on. So one person couldn’t get ready while the other slept. Also, couldn’t keep the bathroom light on at night without disturbing the sleeping area because of the frosted window in the shower that opened to the bedroom.

Everything was great except for the mattress in the room. The mattresses need to be replaced. You can feel the springs and there was a hole that I kept rolling into. In addition, the shower needs more pressure.

The room was amazing, the amenities were top notch, I've just gotta find a reason to come back!

Great location - easy walk to everything in DT Greenville (unless you are spending a lot of time in the West End). The Hotel, Lobby & Room were all clean and accommodating!
