Blue Pepper Hostel Chapultepec

Maybe I had to do more research on my side, but the room I was assigned did not look at all like the picture. The staff was kind and helpful. On the other hand, the amenities were in bad shape and dirty. The room had no air ventilation and the wall were really thin. I could hear all the noises from the other rooms and the halls, because I was near the common toilets and showers. Probably this is a better choice for people who want to party all night and just sleep a few hours. I think the location is great, but next time I will spend a little bit more for a proper hotel room with a private bathroom.

The room is very cozy and quiet I was able to rest very well, this place is great.

The staff were really lovely, but the facilities were extremely basic, and a lot of the doors did not shut properly (shower and toilet). I room in particular had a dodgie doorknob which made me feel like someone could break in. The room was very hot and the outside noisy was loud. With that said, this was very affordable accommodation, so I wasn't expecting the best.

Good location near many restaurants and bars. Overnight no one on duty for the front desk.

Small and cozy

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCIA. De entrada las imágenes no tienen nada que ver con la realidad. El lugar es sucio, desordenado y oscuro, basicamente es una casa super "hechiza" la cual tiene muchas remodelaciones mal hechas. Al llegar la gente de recepción fue muy despectiva e indiferente. Ni siquiera tenían preparado mi espacio de estadía, tuve que esperar como 20 minutos para que me asignaran lugar, y eso que el check in lo hice ya tarde. Cuando me asignaron mi espacio, pasando como una hora, llegó un señor de avanzada edad a agredirme porque yo le había "usurpado" su espacio y de manera muy grosera y sin saber de razones empezó a exigirme que me quitara de ahí. Después de hablar con la chica de recepción me ofrecio disculpas y me preparó otro espacio, tuve que esperar ooootros 20 minutos. El nuevo espacio estaba en un cuarto con 2 literas y había una chica que parececía que estaba drogada, fue un poco incomodo, el cuarto estaba sucio y la chica empezó a platicarme que tanbién había sido una pesadilla la noche anterior, por lo que ya por fin me pude decidir a reservar mejor una habitación privada por mi seguridad y comodidad, tuve que pagar mas a final de cuentas porque el lugar es horrible e inseguro. NADA RECOMENDABLE.
