"Now both elevators are out of service when only one was broken when we arrived. The bed is comfortable but the sofa and chairs are not good for sitting more than a few minutes before it is a bother. The pool lock is broken and a family not staying here got out of their car in their bathing suits and treating it like the community pool. There are ****s overgrown through the fence and spa appears to have been broken for months. I gave two stars because the place is clean inside and the staff is very nice but they have no authority to how money on maintenance is spent. I image the people that are in charge of the maintenance budget are very unorganized and have no construction and maintenance skills. This place has so much potential being in a wonderful area. If the place was maintained better it could really fill up and be successful but going by the number of cars in the parking lot last night at check in, this place is failing horribly."

"The hotel lobby staff was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. And since parking was free, I thought it was a very cost-effective hotel. The hotel felt old, but it was 15 minutes away from the San Marcos Outlet, and there were shops and restaurants nearby, so it was nice. Above all, the quiet indoor pool and warm jacuzzi were the best. My legs were sore and tired from walking a long time at the outlet... It was so nice to be able to relieve my fatigue in warm water. The pool water was also warm, so I was able to use it. I will use it again next time."

"We stayed here for 2 nights for a family reunion we were attending. For the most part the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. In our room the coffee tray had open condiments for the coffee, which was a little disappointing. Seems like housekeeping that day was not focused on small details. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will probably stay again in the future."

Peacock Pass, our recently expanded, vintage 1950s cabin, delivers such a unique experience at Lake Dunlap. Despite recent updates, we have worked to maintain the original feel of the cabin that has been in our family for over 40 years. The stunning view, terraced lighted levels, firepit, outdoor seating, and lakefront are just a few of the neat features.
Come enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and beautiful view of the lake! We are located just a few houses down from the dam which is the deepest part of Lake Dunlap. Enjoy the view while sitting on the swing overlooking the lake. When relaxing in the evening, there will be lots of time for outdoor recreation or s’mores by the fire pit or chiminea. The lighted path to the water with the lightning bugs flying through the air provides such a memorable experience. The living room has a 50 inch tv and the lake room and both bedrooms have 32 in smart TVs for relaxing after your busy day! There is one DVD player at Peacock Pass. Feel free to bring your gaming system as well!
Peacock Pass has central heat and air plus an electric fireplace for added ambiance in the winter. Make yourself at home in one of our two bedrooms. Our newly added “lake room” has a love seat, a recliner, and really provides some extra flex space. In our main living area is a queen pull out bed.

The kitchen, living, and dining are all open, with an island in the middle for preparing or serving food. Totally renovated 2100 Sq Foot house on 3/4 acre with 4 Bedrooms, 2 baths and with all new appliances now ready for short term rentals! This house is nestled in the Lake McQueeney area just minutes from Seguin and a short 15 minute drive down Hwy 725 to downtown New Braunfels where you can float the river or visit Schlitterbahn Water Park. New appliances include: Refrigerator with water and ice maker, electric stove with air fryer, dishwasher, and Samsung washer and dryer. Each of the 4 roomy bedrooms have 50" Smart TV's. The master bathroom has a walk in/tiled shower with dual vanity sinks and very large walk in closet. The living room has large sectional couch with built in recliners and has a 65" smart TV wall mounted. The 4th bedroom, next to the dining area has a king size bed AND a twin over full bunk bed. This room is massive and great for a family of 5 just in this room alone! We have a large backyard that is fully fenced for dogs. There's a gazebo with brand new Pit Boss Wood Pellet Grill and stainless steel firepit. There are ceiling fans in every bedroom. There's covered parking for 3 cars and a large driveway with turn-around. Charming 1350 Sq foot elevated house nestled between two large pecan trees. This house has been completely renovated, literally from the ground up, as it has been lifted 14-feet off the ground. Modern kitchen with composite counter-tops, all brand new appliances including Refrigerator, Flat top Electric Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher and Stove Hood with fan. Lots of kitchen storage with pull out pantry shelves. All 3 bedrooms have ceiling fans, and the house has central heating and AC. Master Bedroom has King sized bed, large closet, it's own bathroom with tiled walk-in shower and dual vanity sinks. The 2nd Bedroom has Queen sized bed and large modern closet. The 3rd and smallest bedroom has a bunk bed (Twin over Full) that can comfortably sleep 4 small children, or 2 adults with a child. The second guest bathroom has dual vanity mirrors and sinks and a large tiled walk in shower. This cozy house has high speed WiFi, 4 wall mounted TV's, one in each bedroom and large 58" TV in living room. Comfortably sleeps 7 guests in bedrooms and 1 on the couch. You can squeeze in a few extra people (up to 10 max) with small air mattresses. House comes with small balcony outside, and a fire pit and BBQ on the bottom floor. The yard is .20 of an acre and is fully fenced to bring a small or medium sized dog. All composite wood flooring throughout entire house for easy cleanup and durability.
