Gina, Oscar, Boylys & Miguel-Agnel - are all assets to the hotel group that owns the Santa Regina. They also algo several other properties in the central zone of Guanajuato.

The location is great, room immaculately clean, however, there is no sleeping at that place. You hear every car that drives by and music from a club nearby is unbearably loud. I went to the reception at 1:15am, exhausted, and was told that music would stop at 3am.

Excellent location, nice butttt the bathroom had bad shower, all water comes out to the entire bathroom, and needs another mirror up of the table, in the room

It is a fantastic place in an old house
And the location is excellent
Hotel is clean, staff members are very nice and helpful (to tell the truth, everybody in Guanajuato is)
Don’t expect the amenities of the high end American hotels, but, who needs that when you are in the middle of one of the most beautiful cities in the world

Is next to a club, so loud we couldn't sleep. The room was very hot and the shower didn't drained properly. We had no sleep. We asked, why do you rent that room? They didn't have an answer.
They had no courtesy to change us to another room or anything.

What a pleasant surprise... I was a guest during MEX Independence celebrations in Sept 2023. There are nicer hotels in the area; however, they are much more expensive. The location is close to everything and the room I got had double layered windows that cut noise levels dramatically. I stayed in room # 41. It faces Calle Alonso. Furthermore, the site has an elevator and that helped with my bad knee. The breakfast was off site and ok. I only went once. I didn't give the site five stars because: THE ROOMS HAVE NO AC - SO, BE WARNED ABOUT STAYING HERE DURING HOT MONTHS. I just opened my room window and used the ceiling fan. I had no problem getting good night rest because I always travel with ear plugs and the street noise didn't bother me.

Everything was good about the room, the only thing I forgot to check was that it had AC , I went during the month of July and it was hot at night had to leave the window open
