Guangzhou Shamian Island YATLAND

Guangzhou Shamian Island YATLAND

Fangcun District Guangzhou|1.49km from Aozhou Port
I booked two room types for two consecutive nights, respectively on the fourth and fifth floors of the hotel. The hotel is located in a dilapidated park (1850 Creative Park) beside Fangcun Pier. It is in a building near the river. It will be opened in October 2023. I was originally worried that it would smell like decoration. After checking in, I found that every room has There is an air freshener and the windows are open for ventilation. According to my personal test, there is indeed no decoration smell, but there is a little strange smell in the room. I guess it may be the odor of the sewer. The river view room is located on the 5th floor, but the entire hotel building is perpendicular to the Pearl River. The so-called river view room does not have a full view. What you see is half of the river view, and the other half is the messy landscape of the building next door. If you want to see the river view, You can go to the breakfast area on the 6th floor, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Pearl River. Let’s talk about the hotel facilities: the newly renovated hotel has relatively new facilities, dry and wet separation, smart toilet, large shower water, sufficient hot water, smart Xiaodu can ask it to help turn on and off the lights, turn on and off the air conditioner, and the robot delivers things, it is very Convenience. But the soundproofing of the hotel is a big flaw. I was watching TV in the next room, and I could hear the plot clearly as if I had the TV on. What's even worse is that the neighbor's TV is turned on until 12 o'clock with no intention of ending. The waiter reminded me to turn down the volume of the TV. In the quiet environment of the night, even using the earplugs provided by the hotel is useless. The characters on the TV next door are useless. The dialogues and theme music are blaring to the ears, which is unspeakably painful. Fortunately, in the end, the front desk helped me arrange another room to sleep in (a thumbs up to her here). Finally, let’s talk about the hotel’s surroundings. There is currently no ferry from Fangcun Pier. Although there is Shamian Island across the river, you have to go around to get to the opposite side. There are basically no commercial outlets in a radius of one kilometer. The nearby bus station is 500 meters away and the subway station is 1.2 kilometers away. If you are not driving by yourself or can't ride a bicycle, it is not recommended. Imagine dragging your suitcase on a bumpy road or getting off the subway after going out late and having to walk more than 1 kilometer to get to the hotel. If it's not a special forces tour, let's not suffer ourselves. Besides, hotel room rates are not cheap, around 400 on weekdays and 800+ on holidays. The price/performance ratio is too low.

South of Pearl River
The house is very beautiful, the children especially like it! As soon as I lived in the evening, I said that I would not go out to play at night, and said that I would like to stay in a small room and enjoy it. Just at Zhangzhou Pier, take the ferry 2 yuan to the opposite side of the river, there is the Guangdong Customs Museum, and it is also very close to Shamian Island by bicycle. It is very comfortable to go to the door at night to blow the river breeze. recommend!

Location : Hotel located at old town area. And consider a bit far from Metro station, although there's shuttle ferry service nearby, but not helping much. Service : Front desk staffs are good. Cleanliness : Although this hotel is only opened since 2021, but it seems that there's no maintenance on the facilities. Housekeeping cleanliness not up to standard though. Amenities : Nothing much nearby the hotel, 600m walk to 7-E. Consider local residence housing area. If you are looking for hotel with big room, yet don't mind the distance from metro. You can pick this up.

The location is not good. The street is crowded with narrow side walk. The hotel is old with basic facilities. There no beautiful scenery from the window. There is no breakfast. It's ok only for one night with this price especially for a family.

Guangzhou Thirteenth Line is the most suitable hotel for wholesalers. close to market The air conditioning equipment is complete and the air conditioner cools down quickly. Shower hot water and volume are sufficient The sheets are the cleanest, no dust mites, no mold There is no smell of smoke at all The happiest thing is that there are no carpets in the room. It’s super hygienic. I have allergies, so this is the only room around where people can stay. Clean up sincerely and not be lazy I stayed for a week and housekeeping changed the trash cans and bath towels and made the bed every day. The room is also very sunny I recommend everyone to come here! Every time I come I am happy and I go home happy with my harvest. It has been 12 years and the White House Hotel has not deteriorated at all. It’s great👍
