Mankedun Hotel (Guangzhou Sanyuanli Metro Station)

The environment is elegant and clean, the service is efficient and thoughtful, the smart facilities are convenient, and the soundproofing is excellent. My stay was superb, five-star recommendation for Manketon!

The room facilities were outdated, and the sink in the bathroom was leaking. All the dirty water from washing my clothes poured out of the drain onto my shoes and pants. There was no phone in the room, which was ridiculous. Mosquitoes were everywhere. I kept running into African people in the hallways and lobby. The front desk service was terrible; they didn't even mention the deposit, just opened the payment QR code. When I asked what the charge was for, another staff member had to tell me it was for a deposit. Parking was also charged.

In Guangzhou, the value for money is pretty good. Having a washing machine in the room is really convenient for summer travelers. The room isn't huge, but the LOFT design makes it quite nice.

The room environment is good, and it's clean. The service is also very good.

The hygiene was a bit poor; there were cockroaches crawling on the wall next to the bed, and noticeable stains on the walls that hadn't been cleaned. The layout of the switches and sockets was inconvenient: one side had a nightstand but no socket, while the other had a socket but no nightstand. The sink leaked underneath, splashing my feet when used, and it was rusty and broken with no one fixing it. There was no bath mat at the shower entrance, so I kept tracking wet footprints in and out. That night, the room next door was having a birthday party! About ten-plus people! It was incredibly lively and they were having a great time! Adults and kids were running in and out, making a lot of noise! They sang "Happy Birthday" at midnight! The room's soundproofing was terrible! They quieted down a bit after I yelled at them, but after a few minutes, it got noisy again! I was baffled! They were making such a racket for two or three hours! Did the hotel even know? No one did anything! Shouldn't group parties like this be held in a standalone villa?! Renting a room in a hotel, and not even booking an entire floor! It was deafening! Is that acceptable?!
