Jinyiju (Pazhou Huangpu Gugang Branch)

It’s a hidden gem located in the middle of an old village. I’ve arrived with the help of a staff walking out to bring me in when I couldn’t find the place (I couldn’t read Chinese). She was very friendly, helped me with my luggage and I loved the stay there especially for the peaceful environment it had. Few doors down was a bar she recommended me to go when I asked, it’s a ******* bar populated by neighbours who are friends and I absolutely loved the laid back vibes there. What an amazing experience, I’d definitely return again.

My stay at Jinyiju (Pazhou Huangpu Gugang Branch) was awesome! The village vibes were absolutely incredible, offering a rare and authentic traditional experience that felt both unique and refreshing. The staff stood out as helpful and caring, delivering good service that made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after exploring the area. The hotel's location is fantastic—it’s not only excellent and soothing but also super practical. There’s a bus stop very near and easily walkable, which connects to every other part of the area effortlessly. This made getting around so convenient and added to the overall charm of the stay. There’s a slight catch: cars can’t approach the hotel directly, so you’ll need to walk about 100-150 meters from the road. While this might seem like a hassle, it’s honestly no big deal given the peaceful and soothing locale. The short walk even feels like part of the traditional village experience. The locals are a highlight too—helpful and interactive, they create a warm and welcoming vibe. I’d highly suggest staying here if you want a blend of traditional charm, great service, and a well-connected location. It’s an ideal spot for a relaxing, village-style getaway!

We booked 4 rooms and enjoyed every room.  Staff are helpful, friendly. We have a couple that arrived middle of the night and staff on duty waited upon them and called them to check.  There are many eateries, massage centers, cafe, mini mart, traditional cake shop within vicinity.  We enjoyed the village feel and atmosphere. We will be back again on our next trip to Guangzhou.

Very cosy hotel with gorgeous rooms in a neighbourhood that will be fashionable in a few years

I feel it is like family hotel, ver very cool place, in the natural chinese area of the city, local vibes, street-food and market nearby. Very welcoming staff, 11 out of 10 rating. It won’t be like a usual stay at Marriot or something, ver authentic style local hotel 🔝🙌🏻
