S & P Holiday Inn (Guangzhou Baiyun Airport)

Since I had an early flight, I wanted to find a hotel nearby to get a good night's sleep instead of rushing to the airport too early. After considering the distance and value for money, I chose this hotel. I must say, for such a great price, the hotel exceeded my expectations. They even proactively upgraded my room when there was availability, which I really appreciate! (Just a note: the air conditioning in this room was a bit noisy last night and could use some maintenance.)

Great value for money! The pros: it's close to the airport with shuttle service, the price is reasonable, and the hygiene is good. The cons: it can be a bit noisy due to planes taking off and landing. The airport shuttle car was quite old and the AC was dripping, which made me a bit concerned about its condition. As for the service, they responded promptly, but when I asked for 6 bottles of water, they only gave me 4, saying I'd have to buy more if I wanted extra. I've stayed at many hotels and this is the first time I've encountered such a policy. However, I accepted it; 4 bottles it is.

I brought my kids to Guangzhou for summer vacation and booked this hotel last minute. I called them and they quickly picked me up. The front desk service was excellent; they even upgraded us to a bigger room for free since I had children with me. The room was well-equipped, and there's a free laundry room on the 8th floor. Breakfast is also available next to the hotel at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!
