Lavande International Hotel Guangzhou TaiKoo Hui Square Shipaiqiao Metro Station Branch

#Staying at Jinjiang, drinking Pepsi, touring Huacheng# Choosing this Lavande Hotel was the best decision for my Guangzhou trip! The location is absolutely fantastic – right in the city center yet surprisingly quiet. It's super close to Shipaiqiao subway station, and Taikoo Hui and Grandview Mall are within walking distance, making dining, shopping, and entertainment incredibly convenient. The room was spacious and bright, and the bed, a Mousse mattress, was just the right firmness. I slept wonderfully both nights, and the soundproofing was excellent. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, even giving me a complimentary room upgrade. Plus, there's a robot that delivers food to your door – a really thoughtful touch. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Guangzhou. Highly recommended!

Fooled by the Chinese New Year pricing. I paid over 900 a night, thinking it would be a decent hotel, but it turned out to be the worst I've stayed in for years. 1. The bathroom was filthy, with grime in the corners and handprints all over the glass door. 2. The room looked nothing like the promotional photos. The business king room was advertised as clean, spacious, and even included a sofa, but in reality, there was no sofa. The ceiling was incredibly low, making the room feel cramped and claustrophobic. It definitely wasn't the 30 square meters advertised – a complete rip-off. All in all, I'll stick to Huazhu Group hotels from now on!

I visited Guangzhou for Chinese New Year and booked this Lavande Hotel well in advance, as it offered relatively good value for money during the holiday season. The hotel's location is quite convenient, though it's not directly on the main street. There's an Atour Hotel outside, and you'll find the Lavande down an alleyway next to it, essentially on a smaller street behind. I even had trouble finding it by taxi on the first day. The hotel itself feels a bit dated, and the room was quite small – it felt like the bed was right by the door, which wasn't ideal. For the self-service laundry, as you can see in the picture, the two washers and two dryers were all different brands and models, which made it seem a bit low-end. Breakfast was advertised until 10 AM, but by 9:40 AM, there was hardly anything left, and many items weren't being refilled. I only ate breakfast there once and opted for dim sum outside on the other days.

Honestly, it felt pretty average, and the room rate wasn't cheap either. The so-called parking lot was tiny and cramped – all the cars were parked together, and you had to leave your keys with the front desk. If another guest needed their car, the front desk had to move yours. I forgot to take pictures. The hotel itself is quite small, and the 'service' basically just meant the front desk checking you in.

The rooms were really great! We booked three rooms and the front desk staff were very diligent and responsible. Plus, the TV and Wi-Fi in the rooms worked perfectly, so definitely a thumbs-up 👍

The room was clean and tidy, the WiFi signal was strong and stable, and they even provided complimentary bottled water and snacks! This will definitely be our top choice next time we're in Guangzhou.

Hot water came instantly, the AC heated and cooled quickly, and the bathroom products were not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional – even the hairdryer had strong airflow. Every little detail was a pleasant surprise. The common areas were meticulously maintained; the elevator ran smoothly, and the hallways were quiet. The breakfast selection was huge, with fresh fruit, freshly made pastries, and delicious local specialties – everything was incredibly tasty, setting us up for an energetic day. The hotel's location is also superb. It’s not far from shopping districts or attractions, making it easy to get around on foot or by taxi. After an evening of exploring, there’s a convenient store downstairs, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, our stay was incredibly comfortable and offered excellent value for money. We couldn't find a single fault with the service or the environment. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in the area and have already recommended it to all our friends planning trips!

The hotel staff were all incredibly patient and friendly towards kids, even thoughtfully providing children's slippers and toiletries, showing great attention to detail. The hotel's location was also ideal, not far from tourist attractions and food streets, making it convenient to get around by taxi or on foot. There were also convenience stores nearby, making shopping super easy. The hotel was very quiet at night, and our child slept wonderfully. Plus, the housekeeping staff were prompt in cleaning the room and actively replenished toiletries and drinking water. This stay was incredibly comfortable, and our whole family was very satisfied. We'll definitely choose this place again when traveling with kids in the future. Highly recommended for all families traveling with children!
