Over thirty years ago, when I was working in Guangzhou, a relative of mine worked here. I visited them at the hotel and remember thinking it was very beautiful and high-end. Decades later, I brought my granddaughter to Guangzhou for Chinese New Year and stayed at the hotel. Everything felt so familiar, just as I remembered it. Although some of the facilities are a bit old now, everything else was perfect – warm, thoughtful, and meticulous.
