City Holiday Hotel Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Renhe Metro Exit B

Hotel close to airport, nice and quiet Thanks to Wu Bing Bing and her colleague (forgot her name 😅) was super helpful to us. Much appreciation.

The rooms are very big and comfortable, it was really cozy, the hotel has all the necessary facilities for a stay 🤗

The pros of staying at this hotel: customer service was great, the ladies were always helpful when I had questions. It's closer to the airport than it is to the city center (about a forty minutes drive to the city center area), I liked that. For me, I didn't hear a lot of noise around. Also, I like that they have free laundry service and offer free laundry soap. Also, the rooms were very big and spacious. The cleaning people came everyday to make the bed and give you new towels. There's a gym that I didn't get to use. Cons: the moment you walk into the hotel building itself, there's a weird smell to it. The first room (507) had a moldy and musty smell to it. You can tell there was water damage closer to the bathroom area and you can see the stains on the carpet. I told them about it and they moved me to a different room (501). That room also had a weird smell. The pillows smelled weird like sweat. When you turned on the AC, another weird smell comes out. The elevator always smelled like cigarettes and I think it's because the guests who smoke just enter it and leave that smell. On my first day, there was someone's nail in the room by the TV area. The second room had a nasty smell in the bathroom so I had to always leave it open. They really need a ventilation system in their bathrooms.
