JI Hotel (Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town Haixinsha Asian Games Park)

Facilities: Well-equipped. Cleanliness: Excellent. The front desk staff provided very attentive and dedicated service. Any issues with the room were promptly resolved by the customer service team. Overall, their service was outstanding.

As someone who travels frequently, I rarely leave bad reviews, but today I'm making an exception. To sum it up simply: 1. The room was quite small, and the bathroom was tiny, just big enough to use the toilet. This wasn't a major issue. 2. Shower problem: It took 5 minutes for the hot water to come out, and even then, it wasn't very hot. It would then turn cold mid-shower. Terrible. 3. Laundry room: It didn't dispense detergent automatically, and one of my clothes wasn't spun dry after washing, so I had to wring it out by hand. The drying process took 1.5 hours, making the whole thing about two hours. I ended up going to bed past 1 AM. Awful. 4. Noise issue: Because of the laundry problems, I went to bed late. Then, around 9 AM, some room nearby was either undergoing maintenance or renovation, and the electric drill noise was incredibly loud, making it impossible to sleep. Horrible. My entire stay completely shattered my previous impression of Ji Hotel. Turns out, even Ji Hotels can be bad. I strongly advise against staying here.
