ECHIC HOTEL(Guangzhou Dafo Temple Beijing Road Subway Station Branch)

The location is very convenient and the hotel room is very clean. The staff were very helpful during our stay. It was a pleasure to stay here .

Excellent location in Beijing Road. Cozy room. Staff are very helpful. Room was generally clean though housekeeping can be improved. There was some hairs on clean towel so I not sure if the towel was changed. Shower room has no hooks to hang clothes.

Do not book this hotel. Almost everything about it is dodgy. Overpriced for the low value it offers. At the same price point, can get a better hotel very near Beijing road too. I was so frustrated with the stay that I cut short my stay. (1) I chose and made payment on Trip.com for ECHIC hotel but got notified later on that its name is changed to YIZHI. Funny thing is that there are several YIZHI hotel branches across Guangzhou, but this branch seems to be by far the worst. (2) The room I chose apparently has no real window but was stated on Trip.com, resulting in the concierge having to inform me only upon arrival over the counter. (3) Also, the pictures uploaded by the hotel are catfish. (4) The room size is small for its price, ceilings low and furniture not up kept. Sound proofing is bad. If you are from Singapore, this hotel feels right smack in Geylang or Bugis street, when advertised as Esplanade area of sorts.

Photos of this hotel in your platform is totally filtered an adjusted. The actual physical look of the hotel is terrible . Hotel located at a small lane from the main road . Didi driver had to circle few times to look for the hotel location. The hotel is small, front lobby is small and low ceiling only around 9 feet tall I estimated. Lift to room is the most terrible, is not inside the hotel lobby compound, is facing Main Street and a restaurant beside the lift. This will make you felt unsecured, luckily it still need room card to reach the room . The first room given to me is smelly , old and small . After complaint to front staff , he change another room for me . Better room but with many faulty items like toilet remote control missing, shower holder broken . Conclusion from my one night stay (I suppose to stay 7 nights but due to very disappointed by the hotel overall amenities and conditions , I modified my stays and checked out early) Hotel photos page from trip is very deceiving , the charge of this type of room is very overpriced , the only good point is location . Anyhow there is a good point , hotel staff very helpful , service is really good .

We are very satisfied with this hotel. It is clean, the room is quite spacious, and everything is well maintained. The service is very friendly and excellent. The location is also very strategic, close to Beijing Road, and the price is very affordable. Next time, we will definitely come back to stay at this hotel again. 😊
