Breakfast is served from 7:00 am and there are good Chinese and Western menu options. Just note that it is no longer a hotel operated by Holliday inn but is now called Voco.

White Swan Hotel is a good hotel, I would recommend friends to come to this hotel. Surrounded by Shamian Island, it is very good to take photos. The lobby has a waterfall. I love it. Special kudos to molly, the receptionist, who was sweet, arranged a nice guest room and made my stay very comfortable. I also want to thank Alex for introducing me to the tour guide. The building of the small bungalow was designed and built by the owner during the three years of the epidemic. The hotel is very convenient for traveling. There is a subway nearby and there are many places to eat around. The room is large and the bathroom is separated from wet and dry. We stayed here for 4 consecutive days. It may be due to the location of the room we stayed in. There was construction outside the hotel at night, and the construction noise was a bit loud one night. Didn't sleep well.

You need to conquer a flight of stairs to the lobby. Normally not a problem, but challenging with multiple luggages. They do have a slope by the side but so steep that I find useless and no one from the hotel helps. The hotel also doesn't have non-smoking floors, in fact even the lifts stank of cigarette smoke. The first room they gave me had a strong cigarette smell and the front desk staff kindly arranged for me to see 2 other rooms and I had a room change to another room that was slightly better.  The room is very small, even for one. Imagine it to be cramped for two pax. There isn't even space for proper luggage placement. There was no wardrobe and no place to hang even if you brought your own hangers. The bathroom is tiny, with most of the space allocated to the standing shower area. The handle of the shower sliding door was wrapped in duct tape and it couldn't even close properly. Full basic amenities are provided though I didn't use them so can't comment on the quality. Bed is firm and higher than usual but acceptable. Location wise there are alot of food options nearby. Yongqing Fang is about 20 mins walk away in a straight distance.  Overall, I wouldn't stay here again.

The only drawback is that due to the room type and the humidity and heat in Guangzhou itself, the loft bedroom has no windows, so the ventilation problem can only be solved through air conditioning. We really enjoyed our stay in Yizhi! The location itself is worth every penny, we could just walk across the street for the metro and also venturing to the famous XiHua street for all local delicacies! The only regret is, we didnt extend our GuangZhou days to stay longer. This would be my first choice hotel on my next visit!

Great boutique homestay, we had a wonderful weekend here. The room is very distinctive, the boudoir design is very exquisite, and the details are also in place. The balcony faces the houses on the opposite side, but it is not noisy at all. In the morning, I can hear grandma downstairs listening to Cantonese opera. It feels wonderful. The guy in the inn is very nice and keeps chatting with us. The three-day accommodation experience was excellent, there was no commercial atmosphere at all, and some just felt like home. Nearby are all check-in points in old Guangzhou, Yongqingfang, Litchi Bay, and a variety of time-honored gourmet restaurants. Likes likes likes!
