Great value for money, super clean, comforable bed, beautiful river view from hotel room. Need to specific mention this hotel have very amazing, friendly and helpful staffs. (We left a wifi egg with charger behind and they gave it to us immediately when we check out!!) Walking distance to eateries and river cruise at the pier. Stay for 2 nights in this hotel, just a bit disappointed coz can't go to the rooftop bar due to events on both nights. Also need to mention elderly need to be very careful when using the shower room of the hotel coz their floor are made of marble. It can be a bit slippery. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel and will come back next time. We had a wonderful time here, thank you very much.

It is a wonderful option to stay in Guangzhou. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is located a few meters from the pedestrian street and that gives it a privileged location to move around on foot. Breakfast is served from 7:00 am and there are good Chinese and Western menu options. Just note that it is no longer a hotel operated by Holliday inn but is now called Voco.

Given the high rating and reputation of this hotel, I was shocked by the conditions of the supposedly newly renovated rooms. I was staying at the standard room on the twelve floor , facing the historical buildings. We checked in after 10:30pm under the drizzles and chill - the outside temperature was around 10 degress. I noticed the holes of the linen of the blinds when they were rolled down, though it could still function. Yet, the light shield was worse. It was trapped on one side and could not be let down. The plus side was we were offered another room on the same floor immediately. Leo who helped to bring our luggage up was very polite and patient. He stayed outside our room when his colleague brought the new key of the new room and accompanied us to the new room to ensure everything was all right. He was worth 5 out of 5 for service. However, I would further explain why I only gave 4 out of 5 for service. Yet, the new room was smaller and for any other international hotels , from my experience, would offer an upgrade of the room. This hotel did not. Thats why I gave 4 out of 5 for service. The linen of the blinds in the new room was still far from 100%. I could still detect torn tissues , most probably because the blinds were dated. Thats why I gave a 3 out of 5 for facilities.

The hotel location is perfect for a short visit in Guangzhou. Everything is within reach of each other. The hotel service staff are very helpful in making sure your stay there is as if it is your home. Especially the concierge area, willing to go an extra mile to ensure everything is as planned. The location is very good, and the surrounding area is full of fireworks. After dinner, you can take a walk along the Pearl River. The room was big and very clean. What I like most is that there are enough water pipes in the room, which is very considerate for those who have a big need for mineral water. My only complaint is that the shower head switch in the bathroom is a bit tight and requires a lot of effort to switch on and off.

The environment is clean and hygienic. The family room we set is spacious. You can see the scenery outside by the window, especially at night. It is very convenient to go to Beijing Road, Shamian Island, Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street. We walked slowly and received us. I don’t know if it’s the boss. Very enthusiastic, The only downside is that the hot water supply time is not long. If you take a bath, you have to wash it quickly, otherwise there will be no hot water, and you have to wait for 15-20 minutes.

This hotel is located at a plaza but has only 2 levels (level 3 and 4). Although the reception area is not impressive, the rooms were excellent. The twin bedded room that we stayed in were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. They even provide a humidifier unit in the room. The air-condition were excellent and the bath water pressure were strong. There's even piped music which you can control (located next to the hair dryer socket). Excellent service with impetuous honesty: my wife left her handphone in the room after we checked out and only realised 5 hours later. We went back to the reception and they duly kept it safe for us to collect. Kudos to the cleaning staff. Location is great as it is walking distance to Beijing Lu (shopping street) and also to the cruise wharf. For those who commute using the metro, it is located near Haizhu Square stop.

The environment and hygiene are good. The room I booked was too small and the beautiful woman at the front desk took care of the problem immediately. Parking is quite convenient. According to LP Lonely Planet, the hotel is located in a somewhat run-down commercial and residential building, with different commercial and entertainment floors. Many young people and takeout delivery people come and go. But the 10th floor where we stayed was very clean and quiet, with a security peephole and free laundry. Clothes dryer. Our room has 180-degree large glass windows with open views, basic facilities, quiet air conditioning, hot and powerful shower, good Wi-Fi, and a 50-inch large TV that can only watch online TV. Downstairs is Huifu. There is a gourmet restaurant on East Road, Beijing Road is nearby and it is a 10-minute walk to Gongyuanqianji Railway Station. This hotel is cost-effective.

The location is very good. There is a bus stop at the door downstairs. 100 meters further down the alley next door is a small pier on the Pearl River. You can take a 2 yuan boat across the opposite side. The bus runs every 5-10 minutes. We're here, but it's a bit far from the nearby subway station...it takes about 10-15 minutes to walk. Life is also very convenient. Opposite is a vegetable market with everything, old streets and ancient alleys. There is also a 7-store restaurant downstairs. Walking towards the subway station, there is a very lively food street in the business district. The interior of the hotel is also very convenient. The rooms are originally apartment-style, and there is also a public area outside, including a public kitchen, a public drying area, and a few simple fitness equipment. The guys who work in the morning and evening shifts have very good service attitude. They are easy to communicate and talk to. They also have lovely aunts who are also very polite. They will say hello when they come in and out, and always greet people with a smile~ It really makes people feel like home.

Location: Right across from the hotel, you'll find the wet and dry market. It's a great place to shop for reasonably priced breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, as well as dry seafood to take home, and a wide variety of fruits. Recommendation: We suggest taking a taxi to the hotel, especially if you're not familiar with the location, as it can be a bit challenging to find your way there.
