The biggest hotel I’ve stayed in Guangzhou. Was very happy to see the huge room with a separate living area, bathtub, separate shower and toilet. Then the leakage happened. What a shame, don’t know why there is a flood whenever we use the shower. The bathtub, toilet area and sink area is fine, but the water will flood most of the toilet floor after shower, and the worst is there will be a foul smell that comes after. Shower room is just next to the beds, so we ensure the shower door is shut when we sleep to keep the smell away. Other than the shower mishap, everything is perfect, I was surprised to see they even have different charging lines near the dresser and the tv area, very thoughtful!Location is the best, shopping plaza just across the road with a delicious dim sum restaurant on the 2nd floor, be sure to go early, I reached close to 11am and que for almost an hour to get a seat. The super market in the shopping plaza is expensive but the bread offers buy 2 free 1 if you go after 8pm, the bread is so tasty, I brought back to sg and ate for 2 days it still taste very good. Bought kiwis and persimmon back to sg and both taste very good as well. Subway is just 3 mins away and easily to get taxis from the hotel or from the roadside. Walk about 30 mins to qing hui yuan, one of the famous garden in Guangzhou, visit the huang fei hong and ye wen gallery. Take the subway 2 stops to Beijing bu xing jie, plenty of shops and vibrant place, it’s a must go. Really love the location of this old hotel, so convenient and surrounded by shopping and eateries, just need to make sure to have a shower room that doesn’t leak.

Shamian Island and Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street Guangzhou|0.51km from Renwei Temple
I saw a rating of 4.6 on Ctrip, carefully read many reviews and finally chose this place. 1. The transportation is very convenient, not far from Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, Xihua Road, and Shangxiajiu. There is a convenience store downstairs, and there are many food options on both sides of the road. 2. Since two adults are traveling with two children, I value the size of the bed very much. I visited many homes, and the room area of his home + 1.35-meter single bed + sofa + laundry room is what I value the most. Being able to do laundry when traveling with a baby, and having clean clothes to wear the next day feels like being at home. Besides, the weather is as humid as Guangzhou. For someone from the dry region of the Northwest, it would be a shame not to have a dryer after washing the clothes. 3. Room facilities can be controlled by intelligent voice. It's clean and has a small terrace. Relatively quiet. There are three elevators so you don't have to wait long. 4. The front desk service is good. Here are some suggestions, I hope it will get better and better: 1. Even if the door of the shower room is closed and the cleaning staff removes the floor drain, the water will still flow into the bathroom after taking a bath, causing inconvenience to washing and going to the toilet, right? The door is not sealed properly? Recommended to check out. 2. It is recommended that you create a small laundry program like some hotels with laundry rooms in Huazhu to remind guests of the laundry time. Or, mark it in an obvious place, ”It is recommended that you time your own time after washing or drying clothes to avoid forgetting and occupying the machine for a long time.” (I want to help the person in front take it out, but the laundry basket is always occupied, and there is no way to take it out. Where to put it) In addition, it should also be marked ”For the convenience of you and others, please clean the lint filter after each use of the dryer.” Or see if you can ask the cleaning lady to clean it every day. After all, some guests may not be able to clean it at home. Use this machine. I don’t know how to clean the filter. When I opened the wool filter, I was shocked. I felt that the hair collected could be used to knit a sweater. And this will also increase the loss of the machine. I hope the store and customers can work together to maintain it. Overall, the accommodation experience was good. Recommended to stay.

Shamian Island and Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street
The location is convenient, the service is friendly, and the price/performance ratio is very good during the festival. Many people say that the elevator is narrow and the environment is not good. The elevator is indeed narrow and the environment cannot be said to be particularly good. But I think the review should be viewed comprehensively. Comparing the location, environment and service of hotels of the same price, I think it is not bad, and the family stayed there. Very satisfied, recommended!
XANA DELUXE Hotel (Guangzhou Yongqingfang Zhongshan 8th Road Subway Station)

Shamian Island and Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street
You need to conquer a flight of stairs to the lobby. Normally not a problem, but challenging with multiple luggages. They do have a slope by the side but so steep that I find useless and no one from the hotel helps. The hotel also doesn't have non-smoking floors, in fact even the lifts stank of cigarette smoke. The first room they gave me had a strong cigarette smell and the front desk staff kindly arranged for me to see 2 other rooms and I had a room change to another room that was slightly better.  The room is very small, even for one. Imagine it to be cramped for two pax. There isn't even space for proper luggage placement. There was no wardrobe and no place to hang even if you brought your own hangers. The bathroom is tiny, with most of the space allocated to the standing shower area. The handle of the shower sliding door was wrapped in duct tape and it couldn't even close properly. Full basic amenities are provided though I didn't use them so can't comment on the quality. Bed is firm and higher than usual but acceptable. Location wise there are alot of food options nearby. Yongqing Fang is about 20 mins walk away in a straight distance.  Overall, I wouldn't stay here again.

Must punch in, stayed for three days, too fun, no need to say. Although I booked a separate suite, it is necessary to wear noise reduction headphones to sleep.
