"I had also chosen this hotel for the on-site restaurant, but when we arrived we noticed that it was closed, but it is well located in relation to the city centre. The rooms are very basic with old-fashioned decor but clean. The swimming pool is great, quiet at the back of the hotel. We only stayed one night, but that was enough as a stopover."

"Stopped here for a one nighter on our way south from Calais. 8 hour drive about half way . Easy to find just off the N145 with Secure parking. Inside the whole place was Impressively clean. Reception staff double as bar staff for our evening arrival and pre bed drinks and were very pleasant company. The room was spacious clean and more than suitable . Morning shower was great with lashings of hot water, down to a fine spread of continental breakfast. And on our way. All in all a good stop very reasonably priced at 140. Euro."

"The site (via *******) says secure parking, which was one of our filters to book. When we arrived- nil parking- just had to wait on street & in a town so unsure how safe this would have been & took ages to find anywhere to stop. Receptionist unhelpful & place is so busy with poor or no air-conditioning. We said we were not happy & ******* called on our behalf to see if we could cancel, they then cancelled before we could find an alternative place to stay & said they were full so we had no booking & we had to pay £50 extra after 8pm to find an alternative place to stay. Should NOT advertise a service they don't have. "
