The hotel is in a central place and very close to the bus station and not far from the Guildford Railway station (walking distance - 12 min or so). Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only difficulty was that we had our room on the first floor and at the further end and as there were no lifts (it is a heritage building so they cannot make any changes to the structure) we had to carry our luggage upto the first floor and navigate other steps to the room. There was no other option. We did have help when we arrived but had to carry the luggage by ourselves when we left. This is, though, a very small issue as the property itself was one of the better ones we stayed during our trip. The rooms were certainly larger room than some of the other hotel rooms I have stayed in London or Guildford.

Great location for somewhere to stay, except for car parking The bathroom in the room was wonderful, as was the comfy bed, but the hotel is in need of some major refurbishments (carpets, curtains, walls, etc) - not modernisation but refurb

The location is super convenient! The surroundings of the hotel and the roomsare very clean, the waiters are kind and friendly. Everything is good, but there is no elevator, luggage has to be moved up and down, very labor-intensive.

A very historic hotel with very good service from the staff. The hotel is in a very good location, with a comfortable and lively neighborhood just outside. There was suddenly no hot water in the bathroom. Everything else is normal.
