Our room had a magnificent view of the Li River. The sightseeing spots in Guilin City were all in walkable distance of the hotel. The breakfast had a good amount of variety and you can even get the typical Guilin Rice Noodles if you want. The service was over the top (everyone was super friendly and attentive). If you have any questions the staff replies to your messages within minutes. We were asked if the breakfast is alright or if they should prepare a more western one for us. They probably also saw our bin filled with empty water bottles and provided us 1.5L bottles for free 😂 Will most certainly recommend this hotel to my friends and family and would also come myself again!

Bo Yin Hotel (Li River Secluded Hotel) Our visit to Guilin was to spend time with my wife’s large family and we twice stayed at the Li River Secluded hotel, for a total of 7 nights. Our expectations of a hotel experience are high, so we avoid using American chain hotels when possible. The Li River Secluded hotel more than met those expectations by combining exceptional customer service with a laid back, but luxurious guest experience. On arrival, we were offered a room upgrade. The upgrade accommodation was located on the ground floor, so this did not appeal to us until we were shown the room … the suite was spacious and tastefully furnished with a Zen motif that included a ceremonial tea table. Both my wife and I practice daily yoga, so the ample floor space immediately appealed to us. A room-width picture window featured a view of the Li River Lake and its pair of pagodas. Remote-controlled drapes and shears sound-proofed and eliminated light from the room when closed. A buffet daily breakfast on the 8th (top) floor was included and featured a good selection of both Chinese and Western options. We had family commitments that prevented us from eating dinner at the restaurant, but my wife hosted an afternoon tea session in the restaurant for some of her friends and the tea and pastries were excellent. In addition, fresh fruit was placed in the room every day, and the room refrigerator was refreshed daily with water, sodas, and snacks. The hotel was generally maintained in pristine condition and effected the highest standards of cleanliness. This applied to all the facilities apart from a small exercise room on the 5th floor. This consisted of a set of barbells (no bench), a fixed weight station (functional), and 2 treadmills, neither of which functioned properly … that said, I did use the weight station and the patio outside of the exercise room for yoga on a couple warmer days. There was also a guest laundry on the 5th floor which my wife used on one occasion. The customer service attitude in Chinese hotels is generally an improvement on what we are accustomed to in North America, but at the Bo Yin Hotel it’s exceptional. This means that English language speakers (I’m Canadian and my wife is Chinese by birth) would experience no problem in addressing any of the front desk, maid, or restaurant personnel. For those who prefer to order take-out food, a robotic delivery service is used, a feature that tends to fascinate any child you might be traveling with. Sean Bennett

Amazing hotel, I guess it has been renovated recently . The room is magnetic, and the staff can speak English quite well . Swimming pool, jacuzzis (3 of them), sauna and steam room, excellent gym with table tennis 🏓 equipments makes this property and excellent place to stay. Breakfast was excellent as I am a huge fan of Chinese food, not much of western food, but there are kids station, bread, coffee (good one) , sausage and bacon, and several other options of pastries such as croissants and danish. Thanks XiaoWu小伍 for the amazing service guiding us around the rooftop, taking pictures of us, and giving assistance providing all the important information on how to enjoy the hotel facilities . the only bad thing is the costumers , a huge amount of them smoke everywhere although there are signs saying the whole property is forbidden to smoke. The hotel should remove the ashtrays in front of the elevators . Unfortunately it is a problem in China when you go to hotels and makes very unpleasant the shared ventilation bringing smoking smell into other people’s room.

A particularly surprising experience. It was raining lightly on the day of check-in, and the handsome staff member Xiao Xie came out to pick us up in advance despite the rain. He helped carry my luggage along the way. When I checked in, he saw that I was traveling with an elderly person and he thoughtfully helped me upgrade my room for free. The hotel is located in the scenic area and the scenery is great. Although it is slightly inconvenient to get in and out, the experience is very special. The historical stories explained by the lady at the front desk were also very interesting, and the staff were all great👍👍👍

It is clean and tidy, the bed and bedding are very comfortable, and the service is very friendly. The most important thing is its convenient location. Chunji Roasted Goose is diagonally across from the intersection downstairs. A few minutes walk from the back of the hotel, the whole street is full of food, rice noodles rice noodles have everything, only stayed for one night, it is not enough to eat. It is also very close to Jingjiang Palace on foot. (Sorry, the photos taken by the foodie are all food, not the hotel:)

The station came out and called a taxi for 10 minutes. It should be an old star hotel in the local area, which is very easy to find. Booked a Jingyi room, the price is very high, the rooms are quite satisfactory, but the room is large, the standard facilities are prepared, and there is a self-service laundry drying room. I learned that the elegant rooms of the hotel were later renovated. The price difference was not big. I was going to come back in a few days.

I went to Guilin for the Guilin Marathon and stayed at the Guihu Hotel. It is relatively close to the starting point of the marathon on foot. The starting point of the marathon is also the center of the main scenic spot, and the transportation is relatively convenient for travel. There are many special places to eat in the surrounding area, including restaurants and snacks. There is Tianyuan Rice Noodles about 500 meters away. Similar to being on a peninsula, the environment is relatively quiet. The service is also friendly, clean and tidy, no smell, and you can check out until 2 o'clock. Overall it's a good experience.

The room hardware is good, very close to Diecai Mountain, and the scenery outside the window is good, but the facilities are not very complete. See below for details: 1. There is no landline in the room. You need to use your own mobile phone to call the front desk. There is no obvious front desk number in the room. I found it in the room card holder. 2. The TV remote control in the room could not be selected. I called the front desk to ask about the TV situation and the WIFI password. The front desk lady impatiently told me that the TV can be operated by intelligent voice and WIFI password. Regarding the problems reported by customers, the hotel did not arrange for personnel to come to the door in time to check whether they had been solved. 3. The hair dryer in the room is broken. 4. There is a height difference between the hotel lobby and the elevator to the room (there are three steps), and there is no luggage walkway. The room twists left and right. It is probably the former KTV building that has been renovated for accommodation. No one dares to leave the room.

The location of the hotel is very good. Opposite is the nucleic acid point. Nearby are Jingwang Wangfu, Dongxixiang and Pedestrian Street. The room with the private small swimming pool is amazing, and the two kids miss going back to the pool every day. The little brothers and sisters at the front desk are very helpful and help with luggage. The price is also fair, the cost performance is super high, I recommend it to friends.

My family of three loved this hotel. It looks exactly like the pictures. It was such a beautiful peaceful place to return to each night. We appreciated the coffee available in the seating area. It's located right in the middle of shopping and restaurants. City ebikes and bicycles were within walking distance too. If we return to Guilin, we will definitely stay here again.

This location is very good. Going out and turning left and crossing the road is Guihu Lake; going forward is Mulong Lake; Fubo Mountain and Diecai Mountain are nearby. Behind the inn house is the Wangcheng Scenic Area, and the Duxiu Peak is outside the window. The environment is simple and clean. I came to Guilin to play with my college classmates, and I went to Yangshuo after just staying in the city for a day. Stay here next time.
