Atour Wild 4.0 Hotel, Zhongshan South Road, Elephant Trunk Hill, Guilin

Facilities: Excellent, well-equipped. Hygiene: Pretty good, had minor issues but they were promptly rectified. Environment: Very quiet and comfortable. Service: The front desk staff was wonderful, offering water during both check-in and check-out. The only downside was the lady cooking the noodles. Is it really that strange for three adults to order three bowls of noodles? She yelled, "What?! Three bowls of noodles!" I replied, "Yes, thank you." She then proceeded to cook them very unhappily. When I got my noodles, I asked if the mushrooms on top were meant to be in the noodles, and she gave me a huge eye-roll, saying I should have mentioned it beforehand if I wanted mushrooms! They were just soaking in a bowl of water, and I thought they were cooked. We're not from around here, how would we know? And couldn't she have just asked before she started cooking?

The young lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly and genuine, offering thoughtful and attentive service that made me feel right at home. The room was clean and tidy, with a quiet and comfortable atmosphere, and the breakfast selection was rich and delicious. The entire experience was excellent, full of meticulous details. Next time I'm in Guilin, this will definitely be my first choice again. Highly recommended!

This was my first time staying at the Jianye Hotel, and since it just opened this year, the facilities are brand new. What I loved most was their laundry service – not only is it free to wash and dry, but they also deliver the clothes right to your room! Guilin's weather is so hot and humid, so coming back to the hotel with fresh clothes every day was a huge plus. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Guilin.

If you're visiting Guilin, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Here's why: Firstly, it's newly opened, so all the facilities are brand new and in perfect condition. Secondly, the decor is top-notch, beautifully blending a rustic, countryside feel with traditional Chinese landscape aesthetics. It boasts amenities like a restaurant, book bar, and tea room, offering plenty of picturesque spots for photos. Thirdly, the location is incredibly convenient; within a 30-meter walk from the hotel, you'll find numerous restaurants. Plus, it's less than 2 kilometers from major attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and Sun and Moon Pagodas, all easily accessible on foot. Fourthly, the service is excellent and very welcoming; the front desk staff will even proactively upgrade your room if available. Finally, the breakfast selection is extensive, though I only managed a quick bite before rushing off to catch my Li River cruise that day.

This Atour hotel absolutely blew me away! They consistently deliver their usual meticulous and attentive service. The environment is also excellent and very comfortable – just so relaxing! The breakfast isn't super extensive, but it has everything you need, with both Western and Chinese options. Plus, facilities like the laundry room are very well-equipped, even having shoe dryers. The hygiene is also top-notch. Seriously, it was fantastic!

The hotel boasts a modern Japanese aesthetic. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. Our room was spotless and very cozy, and the mattress had just the right firmness. The breakfast spread was excellent. Highly recommended!
