Venus Royal Hotel (Guilin Elephant Trunk Hill Sun and Moon Twin Towers)

The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to the Sun and Moon Pagodas and Elephant Trunk Hill. You can see the night view from the rooftop. Enjoy the beautiful night scenery from the roof, and during the day, you can explore Elephant Trunk Hill and Dongxi Alley. There are also e-scooters available downstairs for getting around. The location is great, but the rooms don't have a view and can be a bit noisy at night. The room space is relatively small. If you're not specifically looking to be close to the Sun and Moon Pagodas, there might be better options. Overall, it's decent.

This stay was absolutely fantastic! I purposefully paid to upgrade to a room with a view, and it was so worth it – the scenery was expansive, and it was super convenient for getting out and about. The view room was perfect for photos, ladies, go for it! The hotel's Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were authentic and delicious, really hitting that local flavor. Plus, the忆咖啡 (Yi Coffee) observation deck on the top floor offers an unparalleled view; sipping coffee while admiring the Guilin cityscape creates such an amazing ambiance. Overall, it's great value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Guilin.

This is the best-located hotel I've stayed at in Guilin! I paid to upgrade to a room with a view, and from my window, I could see the Li River, Sun and Moon Pagodas, and Elephant Trunk Hill. It was great not having to queue for photo ops. The cafe also has a viewing platform that's perfect for photos. The Sun and Moon Pagodas are right downstairs, and Zheng Yang Street is just a short walk away, making it super convenient for an evening stroll!

The location is excellent, right next to the Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, just a few minutes' walk away. From the breakfast terrace, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas, the Elephant Trunk Hill river, and the picturesque Li River.

The hotel's environment is excellent, and the location is superb. The facilities are very comprehensive, and it's spotlessly clean. Parking is also very convenient, and the service staff are very helpful. It's also very close to the tourist attractions.

Upgraded to a room with a view, and it was so worth it! This hotel was a real gem on my Guilin trip. Lying in bed and seeing Elephant Trunk Hill and the Sun and Moon Pagodas was just incredible! The location is absolutely unbeatable! It's a 1-minute walk downstairs to the lake by the Sun and Moon Pagodas, and a 3-5 minute walk across the road directly to Gate 3 of Elephant Trunk Hill Park. The Li River is just across one road. This is the only hotel in Guilin where you can check off two 5A scenic spots and three landmarks (Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun and Moon Pagodas, and the Li River Opera House) simultaneously! The best part is, you don't have to deal with the crowds; you can enjoy Guilin's famous landscapes right from your room.

Had a great stay! The hotel's location is super convenient, right downstairs from the Sun and Moon Pagodas. It's just a few minutes' walk to Gate 3 of Elephant Trunk Hill, and a stroll along the Li River is really pleasant. After checking in, we paid to upgrade to a room with a view, and we could see both Elephant Trunk Hill and the Sun and Moon Pagodas from our room – the view was absolutely stunning. The 6th-floor viewing terrace is also worth a visit; you can enjoy afternoon tea while taking in the river scenery. The breakfast included freshly prepared Guilin rice noodles, and the service was warm and welcoming. Overall, it offers good value for money, and I'd recommend staying here when visiting Guilin.
