Holiday Inn Express GUILIN CITY CENTER by IHG

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Elephant Trunk Hill and the Twin Pagodas. It's also very close to the high-speed train station, and there's a snack street right downstairs. The breakfast was plentiful, and a big thank you to Xiao Ping and Xiao Jie at the front desk for providing a complimentary breakfast for the children!

The room was great, and the front desk staff, Xiao Ping and Xiao An, provided excellent and thoughtful service.

I genuinely recommend this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect, really close to the scenic spots in Guilin city, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The rooms were spotless, and the soundproofing was surprisingly good; I slept wonderfully undisturbed at night. All the staff were very enthusiastic, and Anna and Jolin provided excellent service, responding quickly to any requests. The breakfast tasted great, and there was a good variety to choose from. My entire stay was very comfortable, I honestly can't find anything to fault. This is my top choice when visiting!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from several attractions in downtown Guilin. Transportation is very convenient, with taxis and shared bikes right outside the door. The facilities are comprehensive, including a laundry room and a gym. The guest rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are proactive and enthusiastic, especially Jolin and Anna, who made us feel completely at home from check-in to check-out. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the overall value for money is high. Definitely recommended!

This hotel is super convenient, really close to Elephant Trunk Hill, Dongxi Alley, and ZhengYang Pedestrian Street, making it perfect for tourists. They even have a robot to deliver food! The staff are incredibly energetic, even late at night, and the service is excellent. The whole place is very clean, and the soundproofing is great. Plus, there are tons of takeaway options nearby, so you'll never go hungry, even in the early hours.

Xiao Ping and Xiao Jie at the front desk gave us a complimentary room upgrade and free drinks when we checked in, and the room was on a great floor. The room was very clean and spacious, and the hotel's breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of choices. The hotel is right next to a food street and Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, so after dinner, you can walk to Dongxi Alley to digest. It's located in the city center, about a 10-minute walk to the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas and a 15-minute walk to Elephant Trunk Hill. Taxis and public transportation are also very convenient. It's 3 kilometers from Guilin Station and 6 kilometers from Guilin North Station.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the city center, yet it's surprisingly quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep! They also arrange parking, which was incredibly convenient as we didn't have to search for a spot ourselves. In the evening, it was super easy to walk to attractions like Shan Lake, the Sun and Moon Pagodas, and East and West Alley – most were just a pleasant 5-10 minute stroll away. The lobby offered freshly brewed Luo Han Guo tea, and the front desk staff, noticing we had sore throats, even gifted us some upon checkout – so thoughtful! Our room was clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities. While it's not a brand-new hotel, you can tell it's very well-maintained. There's also a self-service laundry room and a restaurant upstairs. The breakfast had a great variety, and the Guilin rice noodles were particularly delicious! Overall, a really good experience!
