The views are absolutely stunning, although the hotel facilities are a bit dated. The front desk service was professional. Traveling with kids, the hotel's location is quite good; it's just a short walk to Elephant Trunk Hill and the pier, and the night boat ride was also amazing.

The hotel boasts an elegant and clean environment. The breakfast offers a rich variety and delicious taste, and the pool is spotless and perfect for photos. The staff are attentive and provide thoughtful service.

The environment was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the pool was well-maintained. We even got a complimentary upgrade this week, which was a lovely surprise. The whole experience felt very relaxing and exceeded our expectations. Plus, the view from the window was stunning.

I chose the Universal Hotel (Two Rivers and Four Lakes Elephant Trunk Hill Store) for our family trip to Guilin with the kids this time, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. It truly deserves a full five-star rating! ✨ The room was a spacious and clean 'Happy Twin Room.' The hygiene details throughout the entire room were impeccable – the desk, bathroom, and bedding were all tidy and odor-free, making it perfectly safe for stays with children. The floor-to-ceiling window offered an excellent view; I could gaze at the Guilin landscapes and the city's river scenery right from the bed. The environment was quiet and elegant, and the location was incredibly convenient. We could walk to explore the Two Rivers and Four Lakes and visit Elephant Trunk Hill, making sightseeing effortless. The hotel facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained; all the daily essentials were new and in great condition. The front desk and housekeeping staff provided warm and attentive service. Check-in was quick and efficient, and they responded promptly to any requests, treating us with kindness and care. Staying here with family made our trip incredibly comfortable and offered excellent value for money. This is definitely our top choice for future visits to Guilin, and I'll choose to stay here again next time. I highly recommend it to all families traveling with children!

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Elephant Trunk Hill and East-West Alley, making it very convenient for families with children. We booked a river-view family room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive view – we could see the Li River mountains right from our bed. The kids absolutely loved the rooftop outdoor pool, and the breakfast included freshly made Guilin rice noodles, with a wide variety of options. The front desk staff were very warm and even proactively offered complimentary children's toiletries. Overall, it was clean and tidy, a top choice for travel. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Guilin!

Traveling with my family, I booked this hotel specifically for the pool, but was sorely disappointed upon arrival! Honestly, the pool was barely bigger than my bathroom. My child went in to play, and some mischievous kids were even throwing toilet paper into it! My husband had no desire to swim; the pool was far too small, impossible to actually swim in, and he was afraid of hitting his head. It pales in comparison to the hotel pool we stayed at last night in Yangshuo! (I've uploaded pictures of the Yangshuo hotel). As soon as I saw the kids throwing toilet paper in, I quickly called my child out – it was truly disgusting! Guilin itself is also hard to describe; I won't be coming back. I spent so long looking for a nice river view room, expecting a good environment, and this is what I got? Hugely disappointed!!! Absolutely not worth it! If you're looking to take your kids swimming, definitely avoid this place! The main thing is, it's not worth the price!

The rooftop pool offers breathtaking views of the mountains and waters. The facilities are comprehensive and cleanliness is top-notch. My stay was perfect, and Zhou Zhou provided excellent service.
