Wonderful hotel tucked away in a small village space. Absolutely great for being away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but close enough to reach everything conveniently. The room was very clean and the tea cosy by the window was a lovely touch, we had a nice view of the mountains from our room. All amnesties worked well. Comfy bed. Owner was lovely and helpful, welcomed us back with watermelon every day and helped us to book some tours which we paid for upon check out. I used the massage options there too and it was 10/10! The included breakfast was also fantastic, we took the chinese option every day and it was great.

We did not expect the kind of service we got for that price! Very nice staff, great rooms, beautiful location (albeit a little far from the city center) and delicious food. No need to rent a scooter as the hotel provides them for free, which makes getting to the city very convenient 😄

This guesthouse is beautiful, with several buildings and a fantastic environment. The owner was very thoughtful and brought us some fruit. It was so relaxing to sit on the balcony, enjoying the view and eating the fruit. The owner is very practical and efficient; they promptly resolved any issues we had. The Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were delicious. We had a very pleasant stay!

The place is awesome, it's located quite close to the reed flute cave (one of 4A Scenic Area). You can see the mountain from the window, The host is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple and delicious.

We had a beautiful stay at Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel! The hotel is beautiful, well equipped with everything we needed - fresh water and towels everyday, option to chose between Chinese and Western breakfast and delicious fruits. Xiaoming was so nice to give us the e-bikes to drive around Guilin for free and we enjoyed using them a lot! If we had any questions about the area or needed a ticket for the li yang river cruise he immediately took care of it for us. We had also had a pickup from the train station so we didn’t need to find the way to the resort on our own. It was a wonderful stay. Thanks so much from the young German man, who looks like an old German man and his girlfriend ☀️

Best breakfast in China! Xiaoming was very helpful with anything we needed and very generous. There are e-scooters to use, which you really need. Guilin traffic is not for the feint heated though and this is certainly not the place to learn to ride an old e-scooter. At first I wondered why I had booked a place so far out of town but in the end, with the scooter it didn't really matter. The room has seen better days and the lack of ventilation means high humidity from the shower mist, meaning sweaty nights, which isn't good. Didn't like the fact the music was left on ALL night below in the breakfast room as you can hear it in the room!

Hello! One of the rarest times I wanted to give a feedback. I was genuinely surprised by the service, the cleanliness of the room, and the amenities this hotel provided for such a reasonable price. I would especially like to thank the hotel owner, who was always polite and welcoming, and offered us snacks every day. When we were leaving, he even put together a small bag of fruit and water for us to take on the road. The hotel also offers organized tours - we didn't use them ourselves, but I think it's a great option for those who don't speak Chinese. Thank you so much for such a comfortable stay.

A beautiful location surrounded by quintessential mountains. The staff were wonderful, especially Xiaoming, who was incredibly kind. The breakfast was amazing, with a selection of both Western and Chinese options.

Lovely small independent hotel in a corner of Guilin away from the city centre. Well placed for walking up to caves and lakes, but also easy to get into town by Didi. Fantastic host, arranged visits and onward travel for us at best prices, makes available e-scooters at no charge, advised on local restaurants etc. simple breakfast, charming rooms and breakfast/bar area.

Great great great! Guilin is a very beautiful and affordable city. Xiaoming is very helpful and nice. He washed our clothes. But the best part is that you can take an electric scooter and ride around for free. Definitely would recommend if you need a little rest and quiet when travelling China.
