The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Elephant Trunk Hill. The garden environment is serene and elegant. The room was clean and tidy, with complete and perfect facilities, and comfortable bedding. The staff were warm and attentive. It was a fantastic experience traveling with kids. It's a quiet oasis perfect for a vacation. Our whole family was very satisfied, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Guilin!

Traditional hotel in the middle of the forest, in a unique natural setting, a small island separate from the city by only 15 minutes walk from the main street. Relaxing and pleasant. Attentive and helpful staff. We really liked the stay here

The hotel is located inside the park, which provides a fantastic environment, and it's also very convenient for transportation. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially with our luggage when we arrived and departed. Breakfast was just okay, but the rice noodles were pretty good. There's a pool, and it was kept quite clean with someone regularly clearing the leaves.

I saw online that the hotel was located inside a park and the facilities were a bit old, so I was prepared for that. Despite being in a park, the service was excellent. They were very responsive to guest requests and had a great attitude. The biggest plus was the laundry room; they even sent a heads-up message before check-in about the many services available. Guests staying at the hotel don't need a park ticket, and I enjoyed a pleasant walk in the park, getting a panoramic view of Elephant Trunk Hill from the opposite bank. Now for a few complaints: When I first entered the room, I fiddled with the central air conditioning switch on the wall for a long time, but it wouldn't turn on. After contacting the front desk, I found out it needed a remote control. So, why have a non-functional AC switch on the wall? Also, the toilet seat was loose, and the mini-fridge only worked if you manually plugged it in. They upgraded me to a courtyard room with a balcony, and they did warn me in advance about the loud frog croaking. Indeed, the sound was just like bullfrogs, but it was fine; even bullfrogs need to sleep, so they didn't croak all night. My sleep quality was good, and it didn't affect us at all. Breakfast was included, but the restaurant was truly something else – I've never encountered anything like it. I arrived before 8 AM, and the air conditioning had just been turned on, making it incredibly hot. Halfway through my meal, I couldn't stand it and had to turn on another AC unit myself. Everything you wanted to eat had to be ordered from a menu; there was nothing ready-made. The selection was pitifully small, basically just the kind of steamed buns you'd find at a roadside stall. There was rice noodle soup too, but it was the worst I've ever tasted. I stayed for two nights and didn't bother with breakfast on the second day. What's worth praising in the restaurant, however, is the freshly ground coffee. The espresso was strong and ranks quite high among hotel breakfasts I've tried. Going out to eat was quite convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby.

The hotel is located within the scenic area, offering beautiful views, including the iconic Elephant Trunk Hill right across. You might even spot monkeys roaming in the park! It's a traditional garden-style hotel with spacious rooms that come with a bathtub. They provide golf cart transfers for getting in and out of the park, and the service is very thoughtful!

My stay at the Guilin Zi Zhou Four Seasons Resort Hotel was very comfortable overall. The hotel environment is quiet, with good landscaping and views, giving you the feeling of vacationing in a scenic spot, which is different from typical city hotels. The location is also quite convenient, not far from Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and East West Alley, making it suitable for a relaxing trip to Guilin. The room was clean and tidy, with a good sense of space, making for a relaxing stay. The staff were also very friendly and helpful; check-in and check-out were smooth, and any issues were communicated and resolved promptly. What I liked most was the hotel's surroundings – it was lovely for a walk in the morning or evening. It really helps you slow down and soak in the essence of Guilin's landscapes. Overall, this hotel is more suited for those seeking peace, relaxation, and beautiful scenery. If you're not specifically looking for luxurious amenities but want to experience the local Guilin mountain and water atmosphere, I think it's a great choice. I would consider staying here again on my next visit to Guilin.

Enjoying the view all by myself in the park, I could see and photograph Elephant Trunk Hill without the crowds – truly wonderful! The shuttle bus was super fast too!

Better than I expected! 👍🏻 It's clean, tidy, quiet, and cozy – perfect for solo travelers looking for some solitude. The staff are incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to assist with anything you need. It really feels like a home away from home.

The hotel's driver picked us up at the park entrance. The room was unique, and the environment was tranquil. We could take walks in the park and even see the other side of Elephant Trunk Hill! A great experience!

This hotel is located in a beautiful park, offering elegant surroundings and a direct view of Elephant Trunk Hill, making it the perfect photo spot. The 24-hour shuttle service ensures convenient transportation. It's my top choice for visiting Guihua Lin. Definitely worth a thumbs up!

The room was a bit small, perhaps a special offer. No elevator, which isn't very convenient for women. The room felt really old – the wardrobe, bathrobes, air conditioning, and furniture were all very dated. My wife and I both broke out in rashes and red bumps the next day. Luckily, we had our own pajamas. I can't imagine what would have happened if we'd used the bathrobes. Maybe it's because it's located inside a scenic area. The location really is everything though, it's pretty good, with lots of greenery. We even saw a small monkey when we checked out. All in all, the value for money is significantly worse compared to other hotels.

The rooms are lovely, set right inside the park. After getting off at the park entrance, there's a shuttle bus that takes you to the hotel – I even got to know all four shuttle drivers! The park and Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area are very close by, and the views are fantastic. Just a minor drawback: the hotel facilities are a bit dated. If you prefer a more modern feel, you might not like it as much. Everything else was great though.
