Reviews of James Joyce Coffetel (Guilin High-speed Railway Station, Xiangshan Scenic Area, Liangjiang Sihu)

It’s near Guilin high speed railway station in walking distance. Staffs are all excellent support, service and provide sufficient travel information, starting from booking until checking out. Breakfast is good including the free coffee.

The hotel is located 10 minutes from Guilin train station and a great and reasonably-priced local restaurant, Chun Ji (椿记）; 20-30 minutes walk away from the double tower lake (双塔湖), shopping area and Elephant Trunk Mount (象鼻山）。 Staff are readily to help, room is pretty reasonable with this price range (￥165）。Laundry factility available but beware it takes longer time (2-3 hrs) to dry the clothes. The only disappointing thing is the breakfast, better go for local noodle shop to settle breakfast.

The hotel is very centrally located and makes it easy to get anywhere in Guilin. The staff was very friendly. The only thing I would improve is the breakfast—it could be more varied.

This hotel was clean, and had extremely helpful staff! They were attentive, friendly and allowed us to keep our bags overnight while we went to Suzhou. The rooms were clean, and breakfast of local food was included. There’s a tourist booking station on the first floor, and it included some good packages for getting to Suzhou if you didn’t book the 4 hour boat ride. All in all, a great stay!

The staff was extremely helpful, especially Jiang Jian who was also speaking English! He gave us recommendations for the best places to visit and restaurants, and replying to all our questions on wechat during our stay. The rooms are spacious and the bed very comfortable. the location of the hotel is very convenient. The only negative points: The breakfast is not very varied and not big. The gym is not fully equipped and the treadmill doesn’t work.

Excellent service and strategy location. The hotel is near Guilin train station and CBD area, taking a grab from the hotel is also convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come here again to stay. Whoever is coming to Guilin , can think about staying in the hotel. Recommend people to stay for more days in Guilin.

Not the most modern but nonetheless very good hotel, 10 min walk from Guilin station and from the elephant hill area

The hotel has a good location. Near to the train station and to the city center. The hotel is not like on the pictures (only reception). I booked the hotel because it looks very nice and new on the pictures, however this is very old hotel. They should renovate properly this place to look like online, but at least it was clean.

Good ,only the room is a bit small

很好，酒店挺不错工作人很友好。 Very friendly staff a good place for coffee lovers they provide good quality coffee in the rooms for the morning sips!

Close to Guilin station, the family room was good for the three of us

I liked the location and the room was clean

The place is nice, there’s elevator, offers coffee and good WiFi.
