Hanting Properties in Guiyang

I arrived at the airport a little before 10:30 AM and went straight there, but there were no rooms available. I waited for about an hour and finally checked into a room on the 19th floor. After checking in, there was constant drilling noise, probably due to renovations, which continued until 5 or 6 PM. During this time, I couldn't get a proper rest or sleep. I'm a light sleeper and specifically chose a high floor, but I never expected to encounter renovations. The service efficiency was also ridiculously low. At 2 PM, I asked to change to a 1.5-meter comforter because the disposable three-piece set I bought didn't fit. Around 7 PM, I called to say they didn't have any 1.5-meter comforters left… Regarding cleanliness, when they changed the comforter, they found hair left by the previous guest. Overall, it was just average.

I liked almost everything about this hotel—it’s safe, clean, quiet, and in a very convenient location right by the subway entrance. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. However, the ventilation system is a major drawback. It seems the entire floor shares the same ventilation design, leaving guests with no control over the air in their rooms. The biggest issue is that when neighboring guests smoke, the smell easily travels into other rooms. At times, my room smelled as if someone was smoking right next to me. I had to change rooms three times because of this problem, but it didn’t fully resolve the issue. If you are sensitive to smoke or simply dislike the smell, this may not be the right hotel for you.

A perfect score for Hanting Guiyang Huaxi University Town Hotel! Although it's an established Hanting brand, thanks to Huazhu's standardized management, the overall experience completely exceeded expectations. Cleanliness was exceptionally thorough; even the corners of the rooms and bathroom countertops were spotless. The bedding was soft and odorless, and the shower had ample water pressure, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay. The facilities were meticulously maintained; the air conditioner, TV, tables, and chairs were all well-maintained, offering a user experience almost indistinguishable from a newly opened Hanting. The front desk service was warm and efficient, with quick check-in and prompt responses to any needs. The hotel is conveniently located near the university town, with a wide variety of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Excellent value for money, suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. I highly approve of Huazhu's quality control and will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Huaxi. Highly recommended!

I was really satisfied with my stay at this hotel for a transit stop. The shuttle service to and from the station saved me a lot of hassle. The staff were gentle and patient, and the service was meticulous. The room environment and hygiene were excellent, making for a very comfortable rest. The price was reasonable, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone catching a high-speed train.

Booking this hotel is close to Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center, within walking distance, there is no need to catch the car to see the concert, and then walk back to the hotel slowly after the show. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable and I didn't think of it when I lay down. The front desk lady was patient. Next time I come to Guiyang to watch the show, I will choose this one!

Although I didn't use them, I noticed there was a printer and coffee machine in the lobby, and a gym on the first floor, among other things. Moreover, the hotel staff were incredibly helpful in resolving any issues I encountered. For example, my traditional Chinese medicine needed refrigeration, and since there was no refrigerator in the room, the staff kindly helped me find a solution and even provided storage bags. Their hospitality made me feel a little embarrassed. It's also worth mentioning that both the cleaning ladies and aunties greeted me warmly. I felt the optimism and positivity of the people of Guizhou. Having stayed at Hanting hotels in several cities, this was the best experience I had. Thank you all!
