Kempinski Hotel Guiyang Reviews

This hotel is simply MUST STAY in Guiyang. Staff over there are all super friendly and helpful. Especially duty manager Luke Lu welcomed us with fruits, cake and lovely hand written card. Thank you so much. Room has spectacular view and you can look over all Guiyang from bird eye view. I stayed on 51st floor suite room which allows full access to executive lounge on 53rd floor from 2 to 10pm. Its location is in the heart of city, so Jiaxiulu甲秀楼，shoppings and restaurants ste in walking distance. Even airport is just 15 minutes drive. My wife and I really loved to stay here in Kempinski Guiyang and its name is now reliable one to make booking next times of trouble without any hesitation. 한국어가 능숙한 매니져 Jeff Wang도 있습니다. 가급적이면 스위트룸에서 최고의 뷰와 라운지와 서비스를 느껴보시길 추천드립니다.

Good location very convenient near airport

We had one night stay in Kempinski. The hotel lobby was stunning with very nice designs. Our room was spacious and clean, the city views at night from the windows were just magnificent. The business lounge was on level 53 (top floor), which offered guests free afternoon tea, light dinner, and night drinks. Every staff member we met was very polite and friendly. Finally, I wish to say special thanks to the reception staff Kevin, who serviced us very patiently and professionally. We will be back surely and see you again!

Great stay. Receptionist was kind and professional and made check in very smooth and easy. Classy enviornment and professional staff everywhere. By far the best hotel experience in Guiyang for me.

Just great

It feels unfair to give it 3 stars based on 1 thing but as is often the case with nicer hotels, they fail at the most basic thing required of a hotel - sleep. The AC in the room is terrible. Temperature got to its lowest at 4am when it was 25C in the room but throughout the day and early ours of the night it was 27C. If that’s not something that bothers you then this hotel is otherwise decent. Great view, nice bathtub, clean and comfortable (minus losing 5kg of body mass by the time of getting up). For me, tossing and turning all night and waking up more exhausted than when i went to bed in a hotel that charges that kind of money is unacceptable and would definitely put me off ever staying there again. Also, on a side note - the swimming pool isn’t 5 star. More like a low 4.

Five-star hotel, the service is also five-star! This time I came to Guiyang and stayed in two hotels. When I first arrived, I stayed in the Grand Cross Atour on June 29. The current price of a double bed is three times that of the end of June, so I came back to consider booking another hotel. The friend I met in Huangguoshu who stayed in Kempinski said it was good, so I also booked it. The hotel will respond quickly as long as you need pillows, water and bath towels, and the service is really good! We have been playing for a month and have a lot of luggage, and several concierges came to move our luggage for us. The breakfast is also diverse, and the dishes today and yesterday are also different, which means that they are all cooked on the same day. The swimming pool on the 6th floor of the hotel is a sports club, which is very professional and holds competitions. The service is full marks 💯, the facilities are well maintained, and the cleaning is very clean! Very suitable for parents and children! We took a taxi to Qingyun Road and the starting fee was 12 yuan. The location here is also good, and you can walk to Jiaxiu Tower. There are many foods next to the hotel, and there are snack streets all the way. Take-out is also very convenient!

The room was clean and tidy, and the receptionist was very enthusiastic. I especially want to praise the two ladies, Seven and Candy, in the executive lounge. Their service was thoughtful, meticulous and quick, which added a lot of pleasure to the trip. In addition, the view of the suite was unbeatable. This time I stayed in the panoramic suite, which had a very good view and was worth recommending.

The room has a nice view. The transportation is convenient. It's about 20 minutes' drive from the high-speed rail and the airport. The desserts in the executive lounge are good.

The service attitude is warm and thoughtful, the hotel is in a superior location with convenient transportation, complete facilities, and a good sanitary environment. The living experience is good, only a 10-minute walk from Jiaxiu Tower.

I booked this hotel for my last night in Guiyang. It was quite expensive. I originally wanted to see the night view of Jiaxiu Tower from the top of the hotel, but the front desk said that all the rooms facing Jiaxiu Tower were fully booked and they could only give me a city view room. Breakfast was on the second floor, and I couldn't see Jiaxiu Tower either, so it was a pity. I suggest you stay at the Hunter Sofitel next door. The price is similar, but the lobby of that hotel is on the 55th floor and the restaurant is on the 56th floor, both of which offer perfect city views.

They thoughtfully upgraded us to a room with a better view. The view on the 46th floor is particularly beautiful. You can see Jiaxiu Tower. The bed is also very comfortable. The toilet is smart and the experience is great.
