Xummei Qi Xi Resort

First time in Guiyang. I booked the hotel for May 1st on the evening of April 30th, so the room rate shot up quite a bit due to the holiday! 😄 Lots of cars, lots of people, traffic was a nightmare. The hotel itself was clean, and the service was good. They met us at the intersection, helped with our luggage, and showed us where to park – very welcoming. The next day, they even took us to the parking lot in an electric cart to get our car. Overall, it was decent.

My stay at Xunmei Qixi in Guiyang far exceeded my expectations! The guesthouse is located right inside the Shili Hatan Scenic Area, offering a tranquil environment with beautiful white walls and black tiles that have a charming, traditional feel. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was very comfortable. The butler service was warm and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Stepping out, you're immediately surrounded by stunning scenery, perfect for a relaxing stroll. It's definitely my top choice for a vacation in Huaxi. Highly recommended!

The room was great, and they even offered milk in the evening. There was also a super cute cow plushie! The kitten was absolutely adorable and went wild when people were around. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 Wishing the little one healthy growth!

I stayed here for 5 consecutive nights, and the beautiful surrounding scenery, combined with the excellent service from the staff, left an unforgettable impression on me during this short period. That's why I felt compelled to write a review, hoping to offer other travelers some genuine feedback and insights. Let's start with the surroundings. This area is nestled within the Shilihetan (Ten-Mile River Beach) Urban Wetland in Guiyang's Huaxi District. Xunmei Qixi Courtyard is specifically situated in Maiweng Bouyei Ancient Village, with the Huaxi River gracefully flowing right through the village. The natural scenery is absolutely stunning. Guests can immerse themselves in the local culture and customs, and also easily cross the river to the Huaxi urban area to sample a variety of local gourmet dishes. For families traveling with elderly relatives and children, this is the perfect place to comfortably spend several days without the need to visit other popular attractions. We ventured out for two days, and especially after experiencing the massive crowds near Jiaxiu Tower in the city center, returning to Xunmei Courtyard only heightened our appreciation for how wonderful it is here. Should you decide to explore beyond the courtyard, Qingyan Ancient Town is definitely worth a visit. Children, in particular, might find Yelang Valley and the Guizhou Geological Museum quite captivating. Now, about Xunmei B&B itself. I particularly enjoyed reading my own books at the large table in the ground-floor lobby. Bathed in the warm, orange light, facing the picturesque Shilihetan view through the floor-to-ceiling windows, whether it was day or night, rainy or sunny, every moment offered a distinct and captivating ambiance. To borrow a famous line, 'The ten-mile river beach sparkles like a mirror, dotted with flower gardens and patches of farmland.' I sincerely wish Xunmei Qixi B&B continued success and prosperity!

Nestled within a park, the inn boasts a beautiful and tranquil setting. The service was outstandingly warm and attentive; they met us at the parking lot, assisted with our luggage to the entrance, and even offered a complimentary room upgrade based on our needs, which greatly enhanced our comfort. The only slight inconvenience is that, due to its location within the park, vehicles cannot pull up directly to the inn.

The hotel is situated within the scenic area. To reach it, take subway Exit A, then it's a short walk (up to 15 minutes) into the Huaxi Scenic Area. While everything else was satisfactory, the loud motorcycle noise from the main road at night was quite bothersome when trying to sleep.

Out of the five hotels we stayed at during our week-long trip to Guiyang, Xunmei was by far our favorite. The hotel is nestled within Huaxi Wetland Park, boasting truly beautiful surroundings. We booked a 270-degree view room, which our child absolutely loved the moment they saw it! We unanimously decided to cancel our original plans for the last day and make this our final stop, asking the owner to extend our stay by one night. The lovely owner readily offered us a discounted rate. The front desk staff were also incredibly helpful and friendly; we were very impressed. Just a short walk from the guesthouse, you'll find the Huaxi Riverside and Huaxi Cross Street, making it incredibly convenient for dining out. Additionally, breakfast is served as individual portions, and it was consistently clean and delicious. After two days, our child still didn't want to leave! If we ever return to Guiyang, we'll definitely choose to stay here again.
