The people of Chongqing expressed great satisfaction, giving it a perfect score. The environment was excellent, the decor was lovely, it was clean and hygienic, and the surroundings were quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep. The beef noodles for breakfast were delicious, and the owner even asked if I wanted more and cooked me an extra bowl. The two owners, a handsome young man and a beautiful young woman, were very welcoming and provided excellent service, paying attention to every detail. It's clear they put their heart into running this business. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Guiyang.

Recently, I found a homestay as a great place to party, and I couldn't be more hilarious! The spacious living room, comfortable big bed, and full of warm atmosphere. We chose this guesthouse while passing through Guiyang, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The manager sent us greetings and the guesthouse address early on, saying he would be waiting for us in the parking lot. He even helped us carry our luggage to the guesthouse by car, which was so warm and thoughtful! The guesthouse had a great and unique environment, and the breakfast was plentiful. We loved the coffee in the guesthouse, and the persimmon tree in the courtyard that was laden with fruit was unforgettable.

The hygiene was so-so. The location is near the North Gate of the ancient town. The double rooms vary in size; getting a good one is pure luck. As soon as I opened the door to my room, I wanted to leave. The air and lighting felt poor. Later, I explored a bit and found better options, so I requested a room change. The small garden on the third floor was nice and had good air. Ancient Town Rooftop Photo Shoot Package: This was a scam. We went as a couple, and they said they'd provide styling for one person, four original photos, and one retouched photo. The other person would have to buy a new package (more expensive than market price). Plus, the photo studio knew we were Shanshi guests and immediately became cold, as if we were trying to freeload. We decisively found another studio; there are over a dozen nearby with clear pricing. Guizhou Specialty Snack Combo: A few candies. Breakfast: We went to a small stir-fry place at the entrance. They said it was available until 9:30 AM and that we could get breakfast vouchers if we woke up early enough. There were mosquitoes at night, and no repellent was provided. They said the previous guest took it. Qingyan Ancient Town Shanshi Culture Museum Ticket: We didn't go. They said it's only open to hotel guests, and they would take us there if we wanted to go. The bedding was very ordinary, made with common materials. The advantages are its proximity to the scenic area and its low price.

Nice home stay right inside of the west gate. Staff were really helpful collecting us from a drop off location and suggesting local places to eat. The town was not the easiest to figure out how to get to (little guidance for English speakers online) the owner may want to write a guide in English to boost visitors as their insights were very valuable. We have grown used to wetroom bathrooms in Asia and leave the same feedback in each case: a shower curtain and rail would be great to stop the whole bathroom getting wet. We also prefer when the bathroom bins have a lid, and cotton towels which would be more sustainable to disposable ones.

The uncle on our phone received the signal and drove to pick up and pulled back to the inn. After a long time, I felt very hungry. I just ran into my uncle when I went out. I said that my uncle was so hungry. I didn't hesitate to call and take us to the canteen! Uncle ran home to boil water for us... After buying instant noodles, I met a big dog on the way home. It was very scary. In fact, it was a few steps away from the inn. But none of us dared to go. Call the uncle and he came out to pick us up immediately... After we came back, we took the instant noodles apart and waited for the boiling water to boil. During the process, my uncle suddenly asked us whether we drank or not? Wow! It's my own rice wine! The first time I drank such a high degree of wine, I just drank a sip and felt very spicy! ! Uncle let me drink slowly~ the aftertaste is sweet is a good wine! A very good homestay, the room is clean, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry. The B&B rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and the third floor is a twin room. The fly in the ointment is that some of its rooms are a bit dark and have a little less windows. The second floor is a big bed room and a parent-child room.
