We used it on a business trip back on weekdays in July. There is no festival on weekdays, and there are few guests, whether it is the influence of the new corona virus. However, there were many people who visited at work. The guidance of the navigation from Gujo Hachiman interchange was a little difficult because it was cut through the city, but there was no particular problem. The hotel is near Gujo Hachiman Jo castle. The mountain of the castle is one-way, but it branches on the way and goes to the hotel. The road is easy to understand because there is a standing tag. The hotel is large and the front lobby is also wide 々. The check-in response was kind and good. I explained that there was no public bath, but it would be because many people are asked. Free tea and orange juice and coffee service. Plus cups with ice are available. There is also a vending machine for conscientious price. The room is on the street side of the 2 floor. You can see the city and the castle from the room. There is a veranda and it feels a bit luxurious. The twin room is large 々, the TV is large, and there is a sofa and a table. The room is very clean. It is not new and colorful. The toilet is clean enough to be in. It is relaxing enough. The building can be made of yukata and slippers. I chose a plan with breakfast. You can choose the start time of 2 streets from 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. for meal preparation. Not a buffet style but a regular meal style. The rice and miso soup were free to be replaced, and it was full of dried rice and sukuba miso for one night. There is nothing near the hotel. You have to go up and down a steep slope to the city, but you should walk after a walk. It's not far. From the hotel to the castle, walk slowly on the one-way road for about 15 minutes. It is safe on the paved road. I was able to stay at a very good price whether it was the time or the day of the week. It is a hotel that I want to use next time.

This year, the snow in central Japan is not good, basically relying on man-made, so the slides are rarely opened, but the skating is still very happy. Originally the technology is not very good, so it is enough, having a good time, and conquering the intermediate road. The hotel is located in the ski resort. The reason why I chose this hotel is because it is the only ski resort in the central part of the country. in and ski out hotel. There are two main inconveniences in the hotel, check-in can only be 3 o'clock, before storing things charge. Check out 10 o'clock, after skiing is over, it is not convenient to go to the bathroom, because there is no towel, so it is recommended to bring your own towel. Next time it will be Tohoku or Hokkaido. For the same junior road/intermediate road, the slope of Japan is much larger than that of domestic roads, so I have to go up and go, haha.

2 It was my first time use. The facilities were luxurious interior and the room was very beautiful and cute. I stayed with my daughter and husband who was one year old. When I was eating, my daughter was noisy, dropped things, and I was annoyed with color 々, but the staff responded with a smile and was saved. Also, I was really helpful to respond to my niece that I wanted to change the time of dinner suddenly. Of course the greatness of the facilities and the deliciousness of the meal, but above all, I was happy with the warm response of the staff. It was a hotel that I wanted to go many times. I will use this when I go to Hiruga from now on. Thank you very much.

I was attracted by the woody Scandinavian look from hotel photos. And it was exactly how it when we arrived. We had the loft cottage and our kids (13 and 10) were overjoyed with the choice. The loft immediately became their sanctuary and they were totally at home with their own floor. It's a very comfortable space for our family of 4. There is a kitchenette which would have been really useful if we had stayed longer. It is very clean and self sufficient. Take note that the hotel is about 30-40mins drive away from Gujo Hachiman city center, so you would want to explore the city before you drive up to the hotel. Also note that if you will need to make a reservation for their dinner or BBQ at your cottage (this is not mentioned in their english website). However right outside the hotel, there are a few eateries (Italian and Chinese) and there is also a convenience store right round the corner so you will not be left with no dinner if you arrive late. But the Italian food we had was nothing to shout about, so please plan well before your arrival. If you relish a quiet vacation base away from the touristy traps (eg Takayama), you can easily use Gujo as a base to travel up to Shirakawago or to Takayama. There will be people who prefer the buzz at Takayama but we found Gujo absolutely peaceful and wished we had more time in this place

I stayed 1 to go to the ski area in Okumino for two consecutive nights. There is no restaurant in the hotel, and only a night stay can be done, but there is a hot spring facility adjacent to the road station right in front of you. There was a restaurant in the facility, and I didn't worry about dinner. The room is nice and clean anyway, the twin room is compact, but I never saw the bed, and I'm thick and small. It was like climbing into the bed (laughs) The staff was kind and polite and smiled and satisfied. Breakfast is a free coffee in the lounge with handmade bread bought at the hot spring facility I was able to take it slowly in the room with the coffee of the machine, and at night I drank the wine I bought in the convenience store, and I drank the ice in the lounge.
