Sleep Inn & Suites Gulfport

Room was in good condition. We only needed to sleep for 6 hours in the middle of our road trip. Checked in late, and left early the morning. My issue was a staff member thought she charged me incorrect

It was very clean. Building is a little old and a/c didn’t come on at first but we got it to work. I would stay here again.

The location was a bit hard to get in and out of. The room was a little bit “worn”with scratches on the wall and a rusted lamp on the bed stand. The TV was tilted to the side on the wall and could not be moved. These are minor and I’m sure there will be some updates in the upcoming months to the rooms as other sleep inns have gone through their updates. But the front desk was nice and accommodating. Breakfast was decent. But for the money, it was pretty good.

Hotel was fine for one night stay; however, room was dirty. Stains on sofa cushions, dust on lamp shades, and dirty/greasy tables. Bedding on the beds were clean though and air worked well.

My first room was not clean at all and then I lost power. They did move me to another room room, but the carpet makes your feet black overall cleanliness experience not very good. Staff was accommodating and friendly, very apologetic.. I would at least like a compensation for all of the troubles that I’ve had the last stay it was very inconvenient to lose power the day of a huge event that I was not only attending, but working for put me a little behind having to move everything

Overall a good stay, only a couple of minor things. The room and ceiling could use a fresh coat of paint. The walls were marked and the roof paint had a long crack and was stained. The caulk in the shower was moldy, and the breakfast had a lot to be desired. No variety and if one waffl machine.

Would advise to look elsewhere room was dirty hotel was dirty. Staff are great just need some help on funds to clean hotel. Paint needed, maintenance needed such as a plumbing and electrical. I really don’t like to leave a not good review but this is my truthful opinion. I have paid less for two times better stays in older hotels.

The room had a musty odor, the hall way smelled like ****, an the room was missing the coffee maker
